Treetops Resort

Played Fazio Premier, Jones Masterpiece and Smith Signature on a recent trip to Treetops. Smith Signature doesn't have the same elevation changes, but I felt it was more player friendly than the other courses. Real nice layout and highly recommended.

Great course with nice scenic view on every hole. But pace of play was very slow took over 5.5 hours. The group in front were playing back tees which they had no business playing. Despite complaints the pace never got better.

We had a nice enjoyable round on the Tradition. We played fast and the course was in good shape. One of the easier Treetops courses to play.

My wife and I absolutely loved it. Breathtaking views, challenging & awesome layout, friendly & courteous staff. Plan on using every club in your golf bag, and hitting every conceivable type of golf shot

this is a excellent up north course - greens are very fast

Course was in good condition. Plays short from the white tees, some tight greens, requires accurate chip shots.

I have always heard great things about Threetops, but to see it in person was breathtaking. Every hole was challenging, the change in elevation was unbelievable, and the views were pristine. It took us less than 1.5 hours to play.

The course is laid out to be fun and very beautiful. We were intrigued by the drive in the cart just to reach the course. This course was extremely well marked. There is a lot of sand but that made it even better.

If you think about some of the best par 3 holes you have ever played, they will be represented at this course.

my buddy wanted to play Treetops this weekend and I'm glad we did. We were able to leave before tee time by 15-20 minutes ... this keep us ahead of the twilighters... we had a 4:00 pm tee time scheduled. The course was in magnificent condition and the greens played fast. The only issue we had was there was no food at the turn.... they closed the grill at 5:00 pm, thought that was odd though it wasn't a full house. I did have the cart girl hooked me up with a bloddy mary full of vegi's, took care of the rumble in my stomach for the time being. We will be back again, though, maybe we'll pick up some food before we get there next time. Call ahead to be safe.

Outstanding course. Not for the high handicapper. Requires skill. Saw frustrated hackers!! Loved it. Pace of play very good. Greens very hard to read. Great challenge

a little out of the way. a very long cart ride to the course and back. no beverage cart. we told the starter that our cart had no power and we felt that it would die on us. we asked if another could be brought out. this did not happen . we dealt with this slow real slow cart all round.

Course was very busy as it was 4th of July weekend, but everything went smoothly. Course was in immaculate condition. Fairways and greens were perfect.

Links style course cut into the hills of gaylord is of pga quality. Immaculate course conditions coupled with breathtaking scenery made this one of the best courses played

Played the Masterpiece. Be sure to play the proper tee for your hadicap. Coming up a few yards short on yourt drive will cost you dearly. With a 147 slope rating and well protected elevated greens, accuracy is key. Need to have a single digit handicap to score here. High handicappers can enjoy the scenery and expect many blowup quintupple bogies.

While camping in northern Michigan we were trying to find a fun golf course to play even though treetops was almost an hour from our campsite the deal we got on golf now was irresistible I did not even think I would be able to play such a nice course but the hot deal was better than the local 9 holers the signature course was visually stunning with mountain views stretching for miles most of the resort traffic was done for the day and the course was still in fabulous shape definitely a do over

Signature: Greens were absolutely blazing fast and have some of the most severe slopes i have ever played. Our 3-some had more than a couple putts end up off of greens.

The rest of the course is reasonably open and it great shape. Its a challenging but fair course that higher handicaps can enjoy too.

$55 on golf now was a bargain for a course of this caliber..

The Masterpiece was very scenic. Some really beautiful holes. Condition was very nice. Greens were rolling great, but not overly fast and the course is very fair and reasonably open.

We paid $55 and it was a steal. Not sure if its fair at the $100 regular price.

Simply a terrific course. Beautiful tree lined holes. Challenging layout. Greens in great shape and OH MY! some extremely challenging breaks!

If you make it to Gaylord, you MUST play Treetops.

Other than lacking paved cart paths, Treetops - Tradition was in very good shape. Greens were not overly challenging but rolled well and the fairways were well manicured. Not too busy for a Saturday morning in June, so we were able to get around the course quickly.
