Tullymore Golf Resort

About Tullymore Golf Resort
The Tullymore Golf Resort in Stanwood offers multiple accommodation options, each near its two courses, Tullymore and St. Ives. Golfers can choose among the 36 rooms and suites of the Inn at St. Ives; the 24-room Hideaway at Tullymore; cottages, home rentals, condos and the Lodge at Tullymore, a unique hangout with 10 bedrooms with individual bathrooms and two double beds. The rooms open to a two-story common area with a full kitchen and living area of pool and poker tables. Jim Engh's Tullymore course sports a routing of three par 3s on the front nine and three par 5s on the back. St. Ives by Michigan's Jerry Matthews rides more hilly terrain. Both clubhouses are special structures: St. Ives a castle-esque building and Tullymore home to a TopGolf Swing Suite and the Tap Room at Tullymore.Facts

St. Ives delivers Michigan woods wonder
St. Ives offers a unique experience with a course carved through the Michigan woods, trees lining nearly all the first 13 holes. Then a bit of marshland golf for variety. Greens are elevated but reasonably flat, so putting is not too difficult. I suggest drinks and dinner afterward at their fine bar and outdoor dining area. Deer will join your view over the driving range and putting green.
Beautiful Course
Tullymore is absolutely beautiful! Each hole seems to have its postcard and portrait opportunities, and the more picturesque the shot, the more challenging the hole. As a 16 handicap, I actually had a good enough day where I kept the ball in play often, but I also lost more balls than I was hoping for :). That said, the weather was amazing, and the course (and the care by its team) was on display!
Beautiful Challenge!
Course was absolutely beautiful. Loved the look and challenge it presented. The course head pro checked us in and he could not have been more helpful. We are already planning a return visit.
Top notch
Best greens I've had the pleasure to putt on this year. Smooth, fast, firm. Don't get above the hole! The course is beautiful. Wetlands and woods. Very challenging, bring plenty of balls. Definitely not a course for the hackers.
Great time!
We had a lot of fun! Very nice course. Conditions were perfect. Very hilly course with lots of elevated greens!
Favorite course
Gorgeous. Flawless golf experience. Went Tuesday and today, debating tomorrow as well.
Always a treat to play at St. Ives
Great Day, Great Course. The only problem is they didn't have quick food at the turn, which usually is not the case.
Great layout
Course was in very good condition. The course layout is what makes this course what it is though. Lots of elevated tee boxes with fair landing zones. The negatives would be the screens in the carts have to be manually set for each whole. We also encounter a very slow place of play on the back nine.
Make sure you get a beer from Sierra!
Great Place, like I said make sure you see Sierra!
World Class!
I have played all over the world, Scotland, Australia, Japan, Korea and many of the top 100 courses in the world to boot. I would put St. Ives up against any of them. Wonderful conditions, fabulous design, a pristine walk through some of the most beautiful golf terrain you will ever find. If you have never played here and you love golf I encourage you to go,. It is a rare treat and the price is a bargain. Stay at the lodge, enjoy the restaurants, and soak in the beauty. Dollar for Dollar it is one of the finest golf experiences you will ever encounter.
