Zehnder's Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark

Course was in great shape and a great layout. Overall pace was great for Father's day. I will go back in a heartbeat. Loved the fortress. Started out great with 2 birdies.

Top notch facility. Superb staff. Level tee boxes. Fair rough. Greens perfect.

One caveat: watch your ticket. We booked through GN at a rate the course did not honor. We ended up being charged a few dollars more for our 18 hole round and did not notice the discrepancy until returning home.

Great course! Greens were fast and the wind killed us, but we had a great time.

From tee-to-green, the course conditions were perfect. Even the traps were in excellent condition. I’ve golfed at some of the best and this course was in as good, or better, shape than any of them. The layout was excellent and I used every club in the bag. This is worth a special trip from anywhere in the US and an absolute must if you’re within a day’s drive. There are enough things to do in Frankenmuth that a non-golfer could be happy, too.

Thought maybe a nice quite time on the course but event going on in the town and there was a helicopter flying a banner in circles over he course the whole time! Pretty annoying for four hours! I think hey have something going on every weekend in Frankenmuth so hope the planes don’t fly every weekend!

Highly recommend this one if you never played here. One of favorite course in the entire state hands downs. Green are pure, course is always in great shape and the course is tough but fair if you hit correct shots!

To much grass laying around the cart path made my roll my ankle multiple times, actually have a doctors appointment set for it tomorrow.

Well worth the drive to play. As though as you want to make it by choice of tee box. Absolutely gorgeous course however heavy rain during the week meant the fairways were saturated and pace of play was very slow otherwise would have rated a five. Would definitely play again.

Had a great time playing this challenging course. Although the greens had been aerated, it was still alot of fun. All Michigan courses are probably aerated by now. Look forward to playing this course again next year.

The Fortress was an awesome course. Well manicured and in great shape. Weather was very windy and temps were cold. Front nine was great with no waiting. Back nine was brutal with slow play. 3 hour on the back. Unacceptable. Other than that, will go back without question.

Third time this summer to play here. One of my all time favorite courses in Michigan
