Branson Hills is Awesome
First time playing this course, and all I can say is Wow! What a course, great layout, very challenging holes throughout front and back 9's and the greens are excellent, receptive, undulated and quite speedy. This is must play when in the Branson area. Play rates are high, but it is worth it.
Must See
The course was in excellent condition. The views were straight out of a golf magazine. It will take your breath away. Pick your tees carefully, it is an extremely difficult course but has plenty of room to hit the ball. Play this course anytime your in the area.
Beautiful course!
Definitely my favorite course I’ve played in Branson. My only recommendation is cheaper rates for junior golfers. It was a little pricey to bring my 11-year old son ($50). He definitely enjoyed finding some extra golf balls along the way. Wish the beverage cart would’ve been out longer in the day. Overall, great layout, great course, and a place we will return.
Good value for a great course
I have played a couple of Branson courses on this vacation, and this is by far my favorite. Definitely rewards good shots. The course layout was beautiful. Lots of changes in elevation, and no easy hole on the course. The condition was very good. I also like how the houses were not right on top of every hole, as they are at some of the other Branson courses. I can see how this would be extremely challenging if dry, but the course was in fantastic shape today. My wife and I both really enjoyed the course, and the tees were fair. Greens were rolling fairly fast but true, so that made for some fun putting challenges. Definitely want to stay below the hole. I will play it much different next time, and I will definitely be back to give it another crack!
Branson Standby
Always a good experience here. We used to enjoy the courses to the south as well,, but they are far too expensive for anything other than special occasions now. At least for folks like me. We used to come play Branson 6-8 times a year, but JM ruined that for us. Now we come play Branson about twice a year and we play here. The only negative about this trip was it was very hot and the beverage girl came by on number 2 about 12:30 and let us know it was her last round of the day. Seemed to us that she was needed in the heat of the afternoon, more than in the cooler hours of the morning. Especially since the layout of this course does not bring you back to the clubhouse until you're finished on 18. This is far from a deal breaker though. Just bring your own cooler when it's hot and they'll have to accept you doing so.
Shot Management Required
Definitely a members golf course. Looking forward to another round. Thanks Dan at the pro shop
Cart Paths Only ???!?!
Cart paths only ? Yes, it did rain over an inch the night before by 11 am the entire course was bone dry because it was 95 degrees out. Everyone walking all over the course made it a grueling 5 and an hour plus indurance test rwhile walking across huge humid fairways.in the blazing sun .UGH !!! And I love how they say "cart paths only today" right after your credit card is aprooved and they simultanously hand you the key to the cart and your reciept. Enjoy your round !
Good, but slow!
Branson Hills is a nice golf course with some beautiful views, but their “cart path only” choice on a 95-degree day when most of the clientele is 65+ made for a painfully slow round of golf. It was very hot and there was no reason for the cart policy. At least three different groups (including a five-some of older gentlemen) really struggled getting up and down and around the course. A marshall could have made things better. The course was in good shape, but for $9 more, you can play the much nicer Ledgestone just up the road.
Won’t be your best score
One of the toughest courses I’ve played. It’s not about putting the ball in the fairways either. A lot of uphill or down shots into greens. Greens are not an easy read, you have to take into consideration the slope of the land not just to slope on the greens. But the greens roll very nice. With all that said I would definitely play it again. Enjoyed the round nice people working there and golfing.
The Perfect Challenge for all handicaps
Course in excellent condition, I normally would comment on the greens , which were in good shape, but this time I must refer about the fairways which were in championship condition. .Course is well set out with challenges for all golfers and for us it was a pleasure to play, my wife and I are retired with single figure handicaps and found the appropriate tees to use.
Best course in Branson
This is the best course I've played in Branson., Excellent course layout that is in outstanding condition. The greens are receptive, very smooth, and have manageable speed. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rates are high, but this is a quality course. I will definitely play this one again.
Very nice!!
Great course!! Very tough layout. Greens are amazing and very very fast!!! I was not disappointed at all!! Beautiful scenery. I will definitely play this course again soon!
Great track
A touch long but great design and very well maintained. Nice staff in the shop too
Worth the hour drive
I drive an hour just to play this course
The layout and fairways are some of the best around
Tiff greens hold your shots on the greens.
Make sure you have your driver working because if you don’t it will be a long day for you.
New carts and great staff ,
Over all I would give this a 10 but it only let me score up to a 5star
Beautiful course
Course is in great shape. It is a tough course and layout to play but very scenic and well worth it to play.
Branson Hills golf course
This is one of the best courses I have ever played as a resort type of course. the staff was very helpful and friendly both in the club and on the course.. the course was wet so it was cart path only. the views were worth it. if I lived closer it would be an easy choice to join. keep up the great work everyone!
