Very nice course
The course was in very good shape and the pace of play was unbelievable. A Saturday 9:00 round in under 4 hours. A little pricey, but I would go there again.
Innsbrook
Great course. Love the back nine.! Challenging but beautiful!
Needs some TLC
So I read on their website they just spent 2 or 3 million dollars on renovations and improvements. I'm guessing they put that into carts and clubhouse. Some of it should have been spent on the course itself. Some of the greens were beat up. Tee boxes were in poor condition overall ( mole tunnels, half dead or just beat up in general). I summation I really like the layout and challenges. I just wish the the course was better cared for.
1 of the best around
Innsbrook is always in good to great shape. The layout is very playable and the greens are their own threat.
As far as off-course amenities, I would suggest grabbing lunch after the round. The food is great and reasonable. The ambiance is also very nice.
Most wild life I’ve seen on any course time and time again
Very well maintained I seen that they are working on new black top for parking however still had plenty of parking spots amenities next to none as they have a restaurant above the pro shop, very friendly and this is even being over critical when I say tee boxes can use some work I would rather play Innsbrook for the price over Missouri Bluffs any day!
Wonderful course to play
Do not overlook Innsbruck in your course planning this year. It is one of the most scenic resort style layouts near St. Louis and offers a great experience with lots of great scenery! Greens were being aerated, but easy to putt on anyway. Had four deer cross the number one fairway before I even hit my first drive . . beautiful! This course is worth a little drive to play!!
If you want to get out of the city and play some golf then this is the place for you. Top notch course in excellent condition. Fairways are perfect just like the greens. By far one of the best public courses around. If you get a chance to play here I guarantee you won’t regret it.
The Course
Play was excellent, being well were the first group off! For time of season course was in good shape!
About the Staff
Just wanted to mention how helpful the staff is. Kevin, the pro, is always over the top. Today, Nick and Avery were in the pro shop. Super friendly, courteous and helpful. Avery went out of her way to find what I was looking for and Nick was in and out taking care of things all over the place.
Avery works the beverage area as well and very well too!!!!!

Fantastic as always, even on a soggy winter day
So I play this course a few times a year, or try to. It’s a great track, and the greens are always consistent. I was the only player on the course for two hours. I walked 18 in 2.5 hours solo. It’s a little longer walk, but not too bad. There wasn’t any noise out there, very peaceful. It was on the colder side, and just rained a couple of days ago, and the course was still holding a lot of water, but the greens were good and the speed was consistent hole to hole. Better than other courses I’ve played recently. With the recent rain, they haven’t touched the bunkers yet which is fine. I don’t understand why the “dynamic pricing” through their site, or the deals through Golfnow don’t drop further based on the weather, and the days tee sheet. Ive played it cheaper in price a couple of other times in the middle of the season. It’s winter, and soaking wet, offer a walking rate, or a cheaper winter rate. I also understand wanting to keep out the riff raff, but not many want to drive out to Wright city especially for winter golf. I’ll always play it, it’s a great course.
Great shape
Course was in excellent shape, 1st time playing so layout was a challenge. Although we finished in just over 4 hours, we waited on every tee box. Don't pass up the beautiful views!
Not worth the price or drive
In the past the course has always been in pretty good shape. That’s not the case right now. I like the layout of this course but the conditions were not good especially considering the price. One green was so covered in leaves we couldn’t even putt on it
Wish I could play it more often
One of my personal favorites in the area. Innsbrook is a challenging but still fun course to play. In addition, some of the vistas need to be seen and experienced. Love coming up over the hill and onto the tee box at #5 to see the view over the lake. The tee at 13 is right by a lake, and the tee box at 16 sits way up high on the property and provides an awesome view of the entire area. Some of the recent updates have made a good course even better.
Two small complaints which in the past have NEVER been a problem. For an unknown reason, some of the greens (four or five) seemed really bumpy to me and my group. We couldn’t quite figure out why as all the others were smooth, and this has not been an issue in the past. Their greens are among the best around. Gonna consider it a one off situation. The other was that the tee box at #3 was flooded out. It has hardly rained in the last two weeks, so I guess it was due to the watering patterns. We ending up teeing off about 20 feet in front of the tee box just so that we weren’t standing in mud.
The par 3s are all great to play. On seven, there is a lake fronted by some tall trees. After we all hit our normal tee shots, our group took aim directly at the green by hitting balls over the trees and lake. I smashed a drive that landed about 30 feet in front of the green and a buddy hit one just short and right of the putting surface. Be bold and try and drive the green on a par 4!
On 18, the approach shot has a blind landing area, near the clubhouse balcony, which overlooks the green. People were hanging out and I heard a few shouts from them after my swing. I guess I nearly holed it as my ball ended up less than a foot from the cup! Nearly an eagle and a great way to cap a great day at Innsbrook. Cannot recommend it enough as a great course and wish I could play it more often than maybe once a year.
