Innsbrook City Fantastic! Innsbrook Course Average.
This course situated in the private city of innsbrook is a decent course. The greens were a little shaggy. Good scenery and lots of deer. A few barren spots in fairways and roughs but a fun course. It gets a 3.4/5 rating from me. Restaraunt and bar were good. The actual town of innsbrook gets a 5/5. Awesome place to rewind and relax by one of the many lakes in a cool little A-frame cabin. Love coming here in the summer and look forward to my next outdoor shower!
Overall good
The course was an interesting layout to say the least. Doglegs with blind shots. For an average golfer like myself there were definitely some great looking holes paired with some really just okay holes. Nothing stuck out that was just great. Staff was terrible. Very rude and did not want to help in anyway really. Golf carts were fantastic. I wish every course had these. I know I played late in the year and some things just are not as nice but the staff could have been friendlier. I would recommend this place because of the interesting layout but would not suggest playing there regularly
A great value.
Worth the trip out of the county. Recent course improvements are a welcome. New cart paths & lots of new sod help play.
Great Time with Grandpa!
I took my Grandfather here for something new. He loved the amenities and overall course design. It was a very memorable day for both us!
November Play
They are still doing a lot of work on this course. I have played this course for over 20 years and it is great that they are still investing money into the course. Greens played really fast and bunkers were in great shape for November. They also have new carts. This course is nestled in the beauty of Warren County. Keep up the great work
Super fun layout, below average fairways
This course is a ton of fun. Narrow fairways and food water & bunker placement make for a fun day. The greens are challenging and quick. But the tee boxes and fairways were very wet and very thin. So times you were better off in the first cut than in the fairway. Pace of play is quick, but there are no marshals, no beverage cart, and no starter. Signage around the course is poor. Good luck finding the first tee if it is your first time. And the restaurant is closed Mon & Tues, so plan accordingly.
great day at the "office."
The course was superb in all aspects of an enjoyable round of golf.
Must Play
Great course with excellent greens. This course will require every club in your bag.
Disappointing Greens
We love the layout of the course and play it once a year because it is a little bit of a drive from the St. Louis area.
They had recently aerated the greens but the disappointing thing was they mowed the greens and they were still shag carpeting. We drove all the way out to Wright City for this?
Overall the tees and fairways were decent. Still some very rough areas on some of the fairways. Some of the greens had a few rough patches too.
They say they got new carts, repaired the cart paths and put in a drainage system. That is fine but the most important thing of any golf courses are the greens. They were awful. Next is the tees and fairways. Not sure they are spending their money in the right areas.
On a more positive note, the new golf carts are amazing. The most padded seats you have ever sat in. They also provided all golfers with a bottle of water and crackers on the 1st tee.
Innsbrook Golf
Beautiful course ,and during the week pace of play is great.
A must play!
The improvements are very good. New, irrigation, new carts and repaving of cart paths will make the necessary improvements and bring in more golfers.
Beware of weekday pairings
Usually play this course during the week because it’s close to home. Anytime I am paired up because I go solo on weekdays it’s a gamble. Today they were repaving cart paths on the front so back twice no worries. Of course I’m paired up with the biggest a total jerk. Didn’t even tee off. Take my $38... I can believe that’s the price for back nine twice. Even though this course is so close to home I seriously doubt I’ll come back unless I’m with a group. Very snobby players.
