A Challenging Course for a Rank Amateur
I play golf once a week when I can. Shooting in the low 100's, this course gives me all I can handle. I love playing it because it is beautiful and a good challenge at my level of play. We linked up with another twosome part way through the round because we were all standing around waiting. They invited us to join them and we did for four holes before electing to go on our own. We finished the round of 18 holes in 4 1/4 hours, even though it seemed quite slow at times.
Nice, quiet course
Pleasant experience all around. Due to its location, it’s somewhat secluded and quiet which is very nice. Course was in good, not great, shape. They were doing a bit of sod replacement in the fairway on a couple of holes. There are several holes where you take less than driver off the tee, but I felt it gives the course some character.
Great day on a nice course.
Had a great day with great weather. The course played well inspite of a number of repairs/improvements being made to the course.
I enjoyed the day on the course very much.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Innsbrook Resort Golf Course & Clubhouse. We hope to see you again in the future.
One of the best courses in the area for the average golfer.
All recent & ongoing changes (new carts, new irrigation, repaved cart paths) will make the course lots nicer even though it is already one of the best values for the money. Staff is always very friendly & accommodatind.
the course lead out real nice
had a real good time playing but got rained out before we could finish
Repairs
They were working on irrigation and the conditions were not ideal
Nice value
The course is in pretty good shape and I play there alot of times because of the value for money. This week the course was a little tore up due to improvements and all the rain. Greens were still in good condition. I always recommend this course to others to play.
Spring Weather
They are trenching new water lines and course is in rough shape for now. Had to skip holes 7-9...I am sure it will look great when completed
Good Shape for recent weather
Its been a harsh winter but the course was in great shape considering. It was very cold and windy, and course was soaked due to rain the day before. Didn't have many people on the course. They were doing irrigation on 3 holes I had to skip, but they let us play 3 others again to get 18 in.
Course was very wet, paths only. Temps started in 70’s, we’re in the high 40’s when I finished. Greens were good. Pleasant round of golf. The new carts were great!
John
It was nice just getting out course was very wet. They was doing a lot of work on course
Best kept secret in the midwest
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They were polite and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. The greens were in excellent condition for the region. To consider this a public course is quite an understatement. The attention to detail and friendliness of staff members made for an amazing round. The only thing missing from this incredible Midwestern golf course was the last 18 of 36 holes.
Great course
The course was in good shape, didn't have to wait on any players in front of me.
Rough Around The Edges
I really like Innsbrook. Picturesque, out in the country and a neat layout. Can be challenging with the woods, water and OB stakes. But, I want golfers to know what to expect if you play there now. The price is excellent at $36, lower than normal because of the issues with the course.
Fairways: There are sections which are green and sections which are brown. Almost looks like the sprinkler system is not covering all of the fairway.
Greens: These are fine but slow. They have been overwatering the greens. I had 2 shots plug on the green. Sections around the green are so wet, you ball will plug and disappear. It is like a swamp. Only 2 greens with some significant stress.
Rough: Brown and rock hard
Pace of Play: Waited on every shot
