Cant be beat for the price I paid using golf now
Green are in great shape, course was still a little wet due to all the rain but overall it was in good shape.
nice course...play was way too slow
the course is fine but the play was way too slow...no marshall to monitor play...over 5 hour round!
Beautiful course
Great golf course, well taken care of ,friendly staff, would definitely recommend , will play again.
game will be tested. tight, shot placement is a must.
very nice track..ur game will be tested, very tight fairways.fun track.
Up keep
The greens are infested with other grasses making it to hard to read the greens, and the rough was US Open Length. But all in all
the course had a lot of character just needs some TLC.
Some really nice holes and excellent views.
I enjoy this course. And being out in the woods with lakes and everything, it is an amazing atmosphere.
Excellent shape
Excellent shape in the fairways, despite the rain. The greens were a little long, but they were true. Very enjoyable round.
innsbrook review
Definitely NOT a 4 star course as advertised. Has the potential but needs lots of maintenance. Has very nice layout & surroundings. Was ok to play once but not worth the drive
Course has good potential/Rudest staff I have ever encountered
The man at the front counter is one of the rudest, dismissive, unhappy people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. The course was in decent shape considering the time of year. They had recently aerrated the first four greens, so they were like playing on sand. The only reason I would reccommend this place is the course has great potential in the summertime once the grass is lush and the greens are in shape. The man at the front counter is one of the rudest, dismissive, unhappy people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. The other dowside was that the bar/snack area was closed once we made it to the turn. I would possibly return (in anticipation that the man at the front desk no longer worked there) to see what this course truly has to offer.
The course was nice but severely over booked.
The staff was rude. 5 groups including us had to wait to get a cart due to obvious over booking. We waited 15 to 20 minutes on every tee. There was a group of 10 in front of us trying to play as one group. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes and we left. Felt very cheated. $52 to play 9 holes - not priceless.
fun course for all players
course is made for everyone to play very challenging super friendly
nice layout, interesting design in a resort home setting, good condition..
Nice course, hilly and with good views in a resort setting. Lots of dogleg holes, but not a lot of punishment if you keep it in the fairway. Mid-winter conditions but looked to be well-maintained. It was a fun day..
February Golf
Course is always in good condition but this is golf in February. I don't expect much as far as maintenance but the greens seemed to roll fairly true but slow (as expected).
My favorite public course in St. Louis!
I attended Washington High School and every year our conference tournament was at Innsbrook. That was the tournament that I looked forward to the most. I'm a player who fades the ball off of the tee and Innsbrook suits my eye better than any other course that I have played. From the tips it plays around 6500 yards, so not too long or too short. I believe they have at least 4 other tee boxes so beginners as well as scratches can enjoy.
Innsbrook is a great challenge for any skill level of golfer. I am about an 8 handicap and from the tips I find it very challenging. The front side is definitely the side where you need to take advantage. There are two birdie-able par 5s as well as the shorter par 4s. The back side is definitely more challenging. The par 4s and 5s are all longer and tighter, while the par 3s don't give much leeway either. Generally the greens are soft and receptive to any kind of approach.
One issue that some might have about the course is that there is quite a bit of water, seeing as it was built around multiple lakes. If my tally is correct, 7 of the 18 holes have water that are very easy to hit into. One issue that most people might have is that it is 30-45 minute drive away from St. Louis. However, for the price and quality of play, it is worth it to me.
All in all, Innsbrook is a well-maintained, challenging resort course that is very reasonably priced. However, some golfers might find the layout and design a little too challenging.
Great winter golf
Great place to play during the winter months, 21 bucks for 18 holes in 3 hours.
course has good features for the average golfer. Several blind holes make it more challenging for the first time visitor.
pace on the course was awkward at times. our twosone was paired up with another twosome j(which is fine), however we were often out paced by seemingly constant flow of threesomes. we let them play through if the hole ahead was open, making play at a steady pace difficult on both the front and back nine. It may have worked better if the twosomes would have been placed on the course to play at the threesome pace.
This course was maintained very well.
This course was maintained very well.
Even though it was a winter season, the fairway and green had a good condition.
Scenic
One of my favorite courses. Always in great shape, always a good value.
Great Course
Definitely was feeling great about my golf game before coming to this course. It is very challenging as there is not a lot of forgiveness off the tee. The greens are also very fast which always makes the short game more interesting. It is well worth it, though, and is one of the nicest courses I have played in Missouri. I would highly recommend t his course to anyone.
Nice getaway from St. Louis enjoyed the rural setting and course provides challenge but is enjoyable to play.
Course was an excellent value for $26. Pace of play was good 4 hours for 18 holes. Staff was friendly and I felt welcomed at this resort course. Scenery was beautiful with fall colors and lakes etc. Greens rolled at nice pace. Overall a very enjoyable.day.
