First Time
Great Course for the area and value. Front nine was cart path only due to rain. Carts and cart paths need a lot of attention. Course was in excellant condition with a number of challenging holes especially the Par 3s. Normal play for myself and my partner are 3 - 31/2 hours.
Course Condition
This course is always well maintained. Course layout is great....
pleasant surprise
Very enjoyable round, nice course layout. Nice clubhouse restaurant with snacks & sandwiches.
conditions
greens and fairways in great shape
rough was not out of control
couse drained great after rain the previous two days
greens were holding great
the group in front of us had an issue with repairing divots on the green(we took care of the divots)
Loved it
Great course. Great experience. I really enjoyed it and the course was in EXCELLENT condition
the hills
Fairway width less than most courses but has grass good. Several fairways sloped. Greens have good grass for August and long but slow.
Challenging and lengthy course!
Union Hills
Great course for cost, amazing food, cheap beer, a win, win, win for the money.
Course is designed well.
I liked the course. Greens were in good shape. I played in August and the fairways and tee boxes were dry.
surprise
playing on a Monday afternoon, as a twosome. started at 2:00. was moving along when all of a sudden, here comes all kinds of carts and golfers onto the back nine. It was league night and this week was back nine week. no one informed us of this and we should have been sent off the back to start. instead it became hit and wait 5 minutes to hit again. also, put some sand in the bunkers. number 17 is just dirt.
The course was in good shape
The course is in really good shape. The greens were in great shape.
Pretty good round!
The cart path was horrible! I was like riding on a washboard. The greens and fairways were in good shape. They need to have personnel on golf course to keep it moving along. Had to skip 2 holes because some guy had their 3 year old out there hitting the ball and some guy jacking around by himself. Ending up going back and playing 2 other holes to complete the 18. Was a bit aggravating to say the least!
Very nice greens
Definitely will play course again. The super large hot dogs are a plus after an enjoying round of golf. Very pretty/nice course layout. The scenery is beautiful.
One of the Best Values in town
Fairways and greens are in good condition with green speeds average to quick. Very classic layout with many dog-legs and elevation changes. In my opinion, this course is a hidden gem and is one of the best values in town.
The course was in great shape
We were about as hot as could be since it was in the mid 90's but the course was in great shape. The grounds crew has done a fabulous job keeping up with the heat even though the summer weather has just begun. It was so hot (along with a boil order for Pevely) that the Marshall was riding around handing out water. Can't wait to go back!
Good deal all around
Using a GolfNow discount, this was a very good deal. We were sent out on back 9 because of a youth event and that worked well for us. Moved along nicely. When we came around for front 9 it was more crowded, but the pace was still decent.
Course staff was very friendly, the food at the turn was great (recommend the roast beef), and the course was in great shape. Being new to the course, there are some shots we could have done better if we knew our way. But overall you hit it well and you are rewarded. Hit it badly and you can find trouble. Bunkers were a real mix of decent sand and some just raked dirt.
Great course for the price
I've played this course a couple times. Has some very nice holes and some great Par 5s. As my father says "You'll love the front 9, and curse the back 9."
Good
I would recommend this course to anyone, great value for what I paid .
Well kept course
Front nine has great diversity which leads into a bit more challenging back nine. Staff were very professional , club house was clean. The only thing it lacked is a driving range to warm up on, although the practice green located just behind first tee box was perfect while waiting for your Tee time.
great course, great value
Played 4 man scramble, course was well maintained, staff was very friendly. the cart path leaves a little to be desired....lots of bumps, so watch your beer!
Good course
This is a good course. A few of the greens were under construction which was a bit inconvenient but overall is a well maintained course. Will definitely come back.
Thank you for fixing their divots
