Virg's hole in... Photo submitted by u000004000717 on 02/28/2018
with a little attention could be excellent course
Fun course. Sand traps need sand. Some trees need trimming
around tee boxes.
Good for the price
The course is a very pretty, relaxing layout. Greens are very slow but rolled nicely. I recommend this course if you're looking for a decent test. Your tee ball is very key.
Tree lover's delight
lots of tree lined fairways, which I like, nice views, no houses played on Sunday and pace of play was good. only complaint is that in a couple places as you are driving cart path towards your green you are in direct line of fire from people on next hole tee box
Good course
I like to play here. We get great deals through golfNow and the place is wonderful... the back 9 has a great layout.
The course was in great shape
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful course. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it though it was the first time we had ever played here.
Nice course. First time playing there.
The course was nice. Scenery was nice. Course maintained well. Didn't play the greatest but will definitely return.
Union Hills... Someone was still on their union break
I played on a Wednesday afternoon, in the upper 90's that day. Course needed to be watered but not while I'm putting on the green. Course attendant was running the hoses every hole in front of me, so every put was sloppy as can be.
I had to quit keeping score because I was sick of the missed putts due to the rain.
Great course. Challenging but playable. In good shape.
Great job guys. We really enjoyed our round. There are tight fairways and a few wide open driving holes. Dog legs to the left and right, and plenty of changes in elevation.
Beautiful course i really enjoy playing here must see course.
My favorite is the back nine very challenging ,very peacful ,i really enjoy you don't get rushed and have the quietness you need to concentrate and enjoy a great hit .
Good condition. They need to move the tee boxes more often. Great scenery Highly recommend
Fun course to play. Great shape. Great value when you book on line. I will be back.
Great value tor a formerly private course.
The course is in excellent shape. 'We have been playing the blues the last few times out and enjoy the course layout even more with this strategy. Will continue to use golfnow for all our golfing needs!!
Best Course in Jefferson County
This course has made some serious improvements in recent years. It provides a good challenge, but there are some good opportunities to score as well.
Needs gold tees for seniors.
This course is just too long and difficult from the white tees for seniors. Need something between whites and reds. Maybe about 5,700 yds. Course and greens in great shape.
Good Course, Great Price
Greens were in great shape. Wide open fairways. Fairways and bunkers need work. Great deal through Golf now.
Good course for the price.
Good course for the price. The sand traps need work, but overall good condition.
Tale of two nines
The front nine is a simple muny layout that is poorly marked. My gps ran out of power on hole two so I guessed my way around. Now the back nine is a treat .If the entire course was laid out like the back nine I would group it with Annbriar. Cart paths need work.Worth the drive
Nice course.
On two visits we found that the course offered us different challenges due to the rolling terrain. We will play there again.
Nice course for the money.
At an average price of $22 on golfnow.com this is a great little course. We got stuck in the middle of a shotgun tournament in the front 9, which was a bit obnoxious due to lack of golf etiquette from the group but from 10 on was smoothe sailing. The only real maintenance problem was the cart path, bumpy as all get out, I don't like spilling my beer!
Great course at a great value.
Can't go wrong at this course. Something for everyone.
Nice pace with limited wait...makes for a great round of golf
One of my favorites, seldom crowded, friendly staff, increasing difficulty, on par with Normandie.
