Good Desert Course
As many have noted, this course has two personalities between the front nine and back nine. On the front nine, the holes were pretty straight forward, but very frustrating because a ball could land two feet in front of the green and die in four inches of grass. The back nine meandered through washes and draws of the desert, presenting many challenges of steep inclines and major drops in elevation. This is where course knowledge was very important so you don't hit a driver through a dogleg. Overall, a fun course.
TMAC’S
Fun course, very user friendly! Fairly level, not physically taxing. Pro shop well stocked with all the “good stuff” Well trained and friendly staff.
Fun.
A fun course. Great staff. Great price.. 3 hour round.. Good shape except bunker sand is very hard.
Great fun course.
No complaints except sand traps were rock hard. Fairways, greens, staff, pace of play great.
Staff rushing us literally from the start
Walked in 10 minutes before our tee time at 2:30. Bruce proceeded to say right away before even saying anything else that we are alone and that they’re trying to close so we need to hurry. I asked if we could hit driving range before just for like 10 minutes. Payed for the balls and he said well technically that means you’ll go out after 2:30 so then you can just play 9… At this point I already payed so I just looked at him and he said it was fine. Then we got started and one of our riders who wasn’t playing was getting too hot so they went back to the club house to sit. About 45 minutes later we get a call from her saying that they were closing everything around her… They even shut the lights off on her. So after 10 holes we came back in and left and Bruce talked to us again and said how was it and at this point I was irritated, so I said we felt super rushed. He literally said to my wife yeah we were definitely rushing you guys so we could leave. We paid for a round of golf. You are in business to make money and allow people to play at your course. If you are so worried when you’re gonna leave, then you need to not be in business. I’ve been playing for 10 years and have never experienced the horrible customer service that we experienced that day. I will never return to this course not because of the conditions but because of how it’s ran. Just close the course if you don’t want to serve guests or have people play, or just quit the job Bruce. You don’t deserve to be in this industry if you treat people like so.
Unexpected gem
It had been many years since I last played the course amd I had forgotten the beauty of it. Challenging and fun. The staff were all very friendly and professional.
Bring bug spray. For some reason, there are aggressive horse flies that bite. They aren't overly bothersome, but they'll get your attention.
Will play again.
Fun but….
I love the course but they should make the public aware they have just plugged and sanded the greens. That was very disappointing to spend the money and show up to sandy greens.
Fun course
Fun challenging course. Friendly staff and nice golf carts. Greens are pretty crispy right now. And the Tee boxes aren’t very flat
Awesome
Only complaint was they had a hole wash out, and created 2 out of one, I'm sure under standard conditions "Awesome " is a great descriptor. Will definitely play again
