Even with my mistake
Day started early with my mistake in booking the time in the wrong date. Staff was soo helpful. Played course and it was in great shape.
Nice layout, friendly staff
New owners are sinking a lot of money into this place. Tons of activity and building. Layout is great, course thought could be in better condition. Greens were inconsistent and slow. Areas of fairways were a bit beat up too. Staff was very good
Great day on links.
Staff was friendly and prompt.
Just think when laying out the money for greens fees a small range bucket should be included.
Course was in good shape and the large greens were running true.
Stopped by the new restaurant and enjoyed a dinner at the bar. All staff at the restaurant we’re attentive and friendly.
We will return.
Nice layout
Nice layout. Conditions are a little rough but somewhat expected for a public course that sees a lot of play.
Jersey steamer
It was about 100 degrees but ended up being a great round. Nice little driving range to warm up. Course conditions were very good. Greens rolled nicely (a bit on the slower side) and well maintained (very few ball marks). Pace wasn't bad. Started as a foursome but 2 left after 9 holes so we went at a leisurely pace. Took about 4:20. There was water on the course in several locations and we saw the cart girl 3 or 4 times throughout the day. I would definitely go back again.
Only Getting Better
Going to be the best kept secret in NJ. Course in great shape, and did a great job with pacing (typically an issue)
Good Challenging Course
Very challenging course for a mid/high handicapper. Undulating fairways with lots of bunkers. 2nd time I’ve played there and hope to get back again. Driving range and large putting green. Did not check out clubhouse and amenities… looks like they are doing some renovations.
Almost There
Course was well maintained despite the recent May/early June drought with no burnt out areas. Nice layout with elevation changes you wouldn't expect in South Jersey. Front nine had good mix of holes, back nine features par 4s all over 365 yards. Course is returning from 2-year closure due to bankruptcy and staff seemed to try extra hard to win back golfers. Only drawback was that restaurant was closed but was told it was reopening by the end of June.
