Great Pin Placements, Very tricky. Loved the Greens.
#16 could be my all time favorite. What a TV Hole that would make.
Kinda disappointed
Thank God for "Golf Now".. Had it not been for a "hot deal" from Golf Now, I would have not been happy. First of all, a 5 hour round on a Monday afternoon in October in NJ is NOT acceptable. Ecspecially on a day where the forcast called for thunderstorms which I'm sure scared some people away. Upon our arrival there were 2 "outside staff hanging around, a starter and a bag guy, but we were the only players not on the course, so they definately could have sent one of them make a loop around the course to push the slowbee's. On the 2nd hole we caught the groups ahead of us and from that point on. The course was jammed. I have played Sea Oaks many times since it's inception. I have seen the conditions alot better more often then not. The greens were in very good shape, but tee to green were sub par to par at best.
Course was nice
I thought it was a very nice golf course with a good facility, but not worth the money they're asking. Way over priced.
Slow play, bumppy greans, nice layout, unfriendly bartender
While this course is off the beaten track, it is worth the visit. Interesting holes, some difficult, some easy. The greens has recently been punched and were quite bumpy. Play was very slow, 5 hours, mostly beacuse of the twosome we were paried with. Afterwards in the bar, the food was below average and the bartender wanted to be somewhere else.
This a "shore" course meaning they overcharge.
I enjoyed this course but one or two of the greens were in bad condition and the sand traps were in horrible shape. Basically clay with no sand. They overcharged for the conditions but there were plenty of players since it is near the shore and people are on vacation.
Best course near LBI
This is a great course for the value close to LBI, NJ. Nice layout, greens were in good shape and fun to play.
Great course, great food and a great bar!
Challenging course requiring shot management and a good putting stroke!
nice course above average
we played on a rain scattered day but were able to the round in and a good time was had by all !
Great course for $40
I really enjoyed this course. It had a great variety of holes and was challenging. Only the green surface on #3 had some issues; otherwise, the course was in very good shape. This is a gem!
