Way too slow , overbooked
Solid course but I can’t stand playing 5-6 hour rounds. Three foursomes on the same holes at times. Spread out the tee times.
Great course
Course is in great shape and all staff are very friendly and do an excellent job
Tee boxes are in rough condition
A lot of the tee boxes need major love and not what you would expect at this time in the season. Also a lot of the whole are currently cart path only which begs to reason why the cost of the cart is 20$ when you unable to use it for its intended purpose.
Great course, awesome staff
Our playing partners cart was running low on batter on the 3rd hole, we weren’t even aware, but a staff member drove out a replacement cart to swap out with them preemptively. The refreshment cart was around often. A few tee boxes were under repair, but other than that the course was in great form. Had a blast, $70 tee time for a Sunday is awesome for this course and we could even see the flyovers happening down the street at the race. Only got backed up a couple times at bottlenecks, but everyone was keeping good pace and didn’t have to wait long.
Great track, almost jo driver use on back 9
Well kept course. Pace of play lagged more than I expected
Rocky River Golf Club
Went today and booked 18 holes on a prepaid deal. My tee time was at 2pm. I didn't tee off until 2:31pm. The pace of play was terrible and one of the worst parts of my experience there. The ranger paired me with three other golfers, which was okay, they were nice and friendly, but it is frustrating when I paid extra for a golf cart and didn't get to drive one. That's one of the worst parts of my experience here. After Hole 9, I was so frustrated from my experience and even more stressed from when I first came to the course that I quit. So I paid $72 for an unpleasant tee time.
Horrible pace of play it wasn't a weekend and I didn't even get to try one of their cool carts. I should have gone to Tradition Golf Club or Dr.
Charles L. Sifford. They are way better.
Great track, Need Rangers w/ Balls
Pace of play was not acceptable. Group getting off of green #4 while following group was GETTING ON green #3 suggests to me there’s an entire hole open! Ranger didn't agree and said because we “were a threesome”, we were playing fast! The fact that we were a threesome had nothing to do with the group in front of us letting an entire hole become open after only 3-4 holes. C’mon guys! A 4:40 round is borderline show, ESPECIALLY when it doesn’t have to be 4:40…..
Great, fun course
Course was in great shape. The starter was a great guy and easy to deal with. The rest of the staff was nice and helpful. Only small ding was that drinks were in a trailer, but they were having a senior tournament that afternoon, that could have something to do with that.
That being said, great course, great staff, I will definitely golf here again.
Rangers be ware
Pace of pay was ok. Rangers were out but didn't seem to really care about pace. And twice they parked on the cart path in the landing zone off the tee. Not sure why but it was annoying.
Great public course
Great course with some difficult holes. Greens n fairways were in great shape for march golf. Excited to see how new dining n bar area looks when it’s finished.
Great 1st Experience...
My wife and I had really enjoyed playing here for the first time this past weekend. The course conditions were very good,, greens rolled true, fairways were in decent shape for the early season. Although higher than a municipal golf course, the 18 hole price was a great value.
My wife and I are looking forward to our next round at Rocky River.
