Manor House at Tanglewood Park

I’ve been playing the Championship course at Tanglewood off and on for 30 years. I was extremely disappointed at the condition of such a prestigious golf course. The bunkers were good, greens were average. The balance of the golf’ course conditions were very bad. I have no problem paying $50 or more to play a nice golf course. However, in its current condition the course is way overpriced for the value.

This is a quiet and good place to golf.

When we go with a family, this place is more appropriate. When

I’ve been playing the Championship Course at Tanglewood since 1988. Today is by far the worse condition I have seen the course. The course is currently $25 overpriced. Very disappointed. It has always been one of my favorite layouts.

This championship course has definitely lost its luster...layout a little different than the sr PGA days....a ton of bare spots, tons and tons of weeds...poor places outside of fairway...greens are ok ...look good , roll is bad...not as fast as used to be....you feel now that you are on top of other golfers especially on back 9 now...

Greens were challenging but in very good condition. Fairways were forgiving and well groomed. Interesting elevation to add variety. Long par 3s still makeable but must be accurate. Ho,e 14 and 15 layout very close but silage warns about looking out for errant shots. Looking forward to playing again.

Did not play in the rain today. Too late to cancel.

Course layout was very good. Condition of greens was good but fairways and riffs were fair at best. Mostly weeds and dirt patches. Tee distance to flags was off compared to scorecard. Blue tees were more in line with championship. Tight course With a little work this could be a great tract

They are laying some sod and making improvements to the course. A lot of doglegs. Overall nice course. Greens rolled well. $35 for each golfer after taxes and fees is a fair price for the course. Had a few trees down from recent storms.

This course is in great shape. Has some difficult holes and some easy ones as well.

First time I’ve played the Championship course here and I wasn’t really impressed. The course was slightly above average for this area and the staff was not friendly at all, especially when a storm started while we were on hole 13 and when we asked about a rain check (which every course I’ve ever played on offers if it rains), I was told as rude as possible that they do not offer them.

Course was very busy and backed up when we teed off. Wind was up which made for some tough approaches. Greens were in very good condition, rolling fast and smooth. Definitely recommend playing this track, good rates and good course.

RTJ at his best. The millions in renovations gave this classic layout (on of my favorites) a much needed facelift. Would make for a much better PGA than Quail Hollow IMO.

Fairways were in great shape and a beautiful course. Greens were fantastic and super fast. There is a lot of sand so definitely took a toll on my score. Will be playing again.
