Great layout
excellant course well maintained, greens rolled fast and true
Love the views here.
I was pleased with the course and it conditions everything was clean and fun a little wet but it did rain so other than that would go here again was here 2 times in the past but that was during fall so you had alot of leaf litter which is hard to play in.
Course in in great condition
The course is well taken care of, the bunkers were the best around. pace of play was good for a course this difficult. Greens were in excellent shape. well worth the trip and the money.
Nice spring outing
Greens were punched and crew was finishing up on some holes. Other than that - this was a nice way to spend a spring day. Well worth the money and the trip
Great views of the Allegheny Mountains and surrounding area.
Staff was excellant, great value for the money spent, course was in fantastic shape, had a wonderful time.
Amazing views and conditions
A fantastic course that is challenging even to the seasoned player. Play your shots well and you can score. If not, have a few extra balls on hand, even the low handicap guys will lose one or two during a round. The course was in pristine shape and being at the top of a mountain ridge there were a few holes where you had wind coming from two different directions. The sand was soft and well maintained too. Can't wait to go again.
Well worth the visit-Can't wait to go back!
I stopped here early on a Friday morning on my way between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and had a really enjoyable round. I selected this course because of the high slope rating and the other reviews that talked about the elevation changes. The course definitely fits the bill in these two regards, but the thing that was such a pleasant surprise was how immaculate it was. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in perfect condition, best I have seen anywhere this year.
A stop at Hidden Valley is definitely worth the trip!
beautiful scenic course
Hole 1 starts off and u know u are in some fun on a short 380yd island green par 4. several up and down holes with beautiful view. #2 drivable par 4 but very difficult from blue tees where the tee box literally aims u right at the lake on the right of the hol. few short par 5s but two monsterous difficult par 5. overall worth the golfnow rate of 30$ or lower by far
Great course for the money, well maintained, terrific scenic views.
This is a really nice course. The staff was friendly. This course is in the mountains so there is plenty of elevation changes. The greens were slow on this day because they must have aerated a week ago. The course is well maintained and directions to each tee box were well marked. There are plenty of sand traps. on the course and they were some of the best maintained traps around. There are some terrific scenic views of the surrounding valleys on most holes. I would recommend this course anyone who is coming to this area but it is not an easy course.
