Excellent Day Of Golf!
Everything about this course was great. Staff was excellent. Course was in great condition and provided f or a wonderful round of golf. I will definitely play here again next time I visit.
Most beautiful course in Myrtle Beach.
Played this course during the World Am this year and loved it. Went back and played it again after the tournament. Played (28) different courses over the last (7) years on the World Am and this is the best course yet.
Very nice staff
The course was great and the staff. We only played a few holes and it began to pour down rain. So play was interrupted and we was given a rain check. And look forward to going back to play again soon.
Great layout, played firm and fast
Beautiful location set on the intercostal. May not want to do to much searching for lost balls due to local wildlife. Pristine conditions all around. Challenging but not unfair.
LOVE this course
My favourite type of golf course. Generous landing areas (who doesn't spray the ball off the tee from time to time) but the difficulty lies in the second shot. HUGE greens. A real nice layout. Conditions were only about 7.5 out of 10 for my round (8/5/13) but mostly because of the time of year. The greens were still a little sandy from the aerating but I could tell that in about 2 weeks they were going to be outstanding. I would highly recommend playing this course and will make it a destination on my trips back.
best value at the beach
This course may be the best at Myrtle Beach, and for what I paid I felt it was the very best value. The layout is unusual for the coast; lots of elevation changes and the holes along the intracoastal waterway are spectacular. First class service and course for bargain pricing. I have played half of the Myrtle Beach area courses and this is my favorite.
Great course great views
Beautiful course great condition lots of different tees to play from for all skill levels .greens firm and fast .the better player u are the more u will enjoy .practice facility is good so if u got time get there early to use range chipping an putting areas
Terrific course! This is my 2nd time playing it & it won't be my last!
Very challenging, you can choose from an INSANE 7600 yds course length, to a respectable 6,700 yds length (which my foursome played), to even easier shorter lengths! Course was in terrific shape and greens are difficult, fast, & fair!! Bring your A-game!
One of my all-time favorites
I play this course a couple times each year. It's on my all-time favorite list for many reasons; always well maintained, clubhouse top-notch, course layout is challenging yet score-able, and even the food at the restaurant adds to the experience. This is a must-play. If you like links style golf, you won't be disappointed with this one.
The staff alone gave this course 5 stars
I set up a tee time for 9:30 as a single and decided to get there 1 1/2 hours early so I could get some range time in first. The weather was not looking so promising with rain but it was opening up a bit. From the start the staff maintained the highest level of professionalism and courtesy that they made me feel like I belong there. The guy in the pro shop told me to simply talk to the starter if and when I was ready to possibly get out earlier do to the fact that a lot of cancellations were going to happen due to the weather. I did just that, hit a few free range balls and got started. The course was beautiful even with all the rain and minor flooding on the fairways and the greens were superb and lightning fast. People ahead of me didn't mind that I was hitting alone and if I caught up they were all nice and let me play through. If I was playing a foursome however I could see playing this course 5 plus hours easy. So from start to finish, from starter to beer cart lady and bag check-in crew to the greens keepers, the staff sold this course.
Beautiful and well designed.
Best greens I have been on in 2013! Fair but demands shot making off the tee.
Nice Layout
Very picturesque and well kept, greens had been recently aerated but not much affect on putts. Fairways are gorgeous.Lots of water but fair.
great value and course
Cant beat it for the money...waterway holes into the wind are some of the toughest on the strand...
Free range balls, nice practice area, great people and a solid course layout that's both fun and challenging.
Free range balls, nice practice area, great people and a solid course layout that's both fun and challenging. Come early and get in some good practice before your round. This course sits up above and along an inland waterway so wind direction and speed come into play. The course offers some nominal elevation changes and a welcomed relief from the pancake flat terrain of the other courses we played in the Myrtle Beach area.
Beautiful golf course !
Pace of play was the only issue. Excellent golf course with beautiful scenery. Great facilities.
Beautiful and well designed course
Everything was great about this course and except for the greed to get that extra tee time in. You play within the 2 hours as most places would like. Then when you make the turn you have to wait 30 minutes for the rest of the morning groups to go off before you can finish your round.
I know the money is important but start your tee times 30 minutes earlier.
We see it day in day out, what is killing golf, slow play, and then you go to play and the management of the golf course enables the slow play
beautiful views
starting from the tall bridge to enter the complex, to the holes along the causeway, especially the par 3 on the back
Greens were in transition.
Greens were in transition. Some very beautiful holes on this course. Very friendly to the average golfer. I'd play it again when I go back to Myrtle Beach.
Pricey Myrtle Beach course
Overpriced; greens not in great shape; unnecessarily long round, no Marshall's making any effort to move things along. Staff very helpful, however
Fair but Tough Layout
Offers a wide range of options on course difficulty from 6300 to 7700 yards. A fun course that is fair and no trick holes. Very good condition for early spring golf. I'd play it again.
