Sewanee Mountain Top Golf

This is the second time I have played this course. They are building a permanent clubhouse now and the greens were aerated when we played. The fairways being in April I thought could be better, but maybe being on top of a mountain played a part in that. The views from a couple of the par three's is spectacular! The staff was very nice, but I'm hoping that with time this nine hole course grows into something very nice. With this being in Sewanee I would think money wouldn't be a problem, but maybe there more concerned about other things other than golf.

Challenging but rewarding

Great course with a challenge on all holes. It's a 9 hole with two distinct sets of tee boxes for each hole which is new to me. 3rd hole had an amazing view. Cannot find a nicer staff! Well worth a two hour drive to play

Accessible

I live 4 miles from course. Being a novice player it is encouraging to be able, with the help of golf now, to go play and practice several times a week at an affordable rate.

Nice course

Over all condition of course was good - lot of areas in repair in fairway - but once the fairways are established the course will be better to play. Staff very nice and helpful

Beautiful place

9 holes, but they play different from multiple tee sets. Nicest people you'll find on any course, anywhere. It's worth the drive from Nashville for the view alone. Expected it to be pretty, fully lived up to expectations. Course was in decent shape for the end of winter. Some tough holes. One is a par 3 "island" hanging out over the edge of a mountain. I will be driving back in spring when the weather is nicer and it's green. Fully recommended.
