Cart fees
After checking in l asked for a cart and was told l was playing with another player and would have to pay additional $30.00 to get a cart. I did not even play as l felt the course was gauging.
KS Duffer
Most greens sneaky fast although they were browned out for winter mode. Visible marshals kept play moving, did not have any tbox waits entire day. Decided this course over Robson, had not played either before as I was on travel day thru area, happy with my choice for quality and overall value.
First time in Texas playing golf
I really enjoyed the course. It was a touch dry as there hasn't been much rain. Great layout, greens were super fast. All in all a great day out there, got paired up with cool people. Solid course, everything and everyone was very nice. Very impressed with the hospitality of everyone working there.
My go to course
This is my favorite course, clean, well kept and always something different with the greens, this time they were fast but it always makes the course challenging.
And I just came back from Florida Golf, I lie Champions much better.
Staff doesn’t value customers
Got rained out and staff refused to give us a rain check. Bad business.
Alright alright alright
Not a bad course. Good layout. Short course. Technical. Some bare spots in the fairways but decent quality. Tee boxes were long, looked like they were recently seeded. Greens were tough to read, quick and broke a lot often. But sometimes didn’t break at all. Putted awfully. Worth the try!
Course had great staff
Just got backed up because of one 4 man north courses fault at all. 10/10 recommend
Not what it used to be.
The staff was very good. Friendly and competent, from check-in to starter to marshall to cart return. And the beverage cart came by 5 times! Cost was very reasonable booking thru the app. Overall course condition good for this time of year. Greens firm, but putted true. I would give it 4-5 stars based on the above. Now for the negative:
My group and I started playing this course when it first opened. Yes, it was very difficult. The Shark himself admitted this. So it was "softened" a bit. Made it one of our favorites. Then a few years ago a BullShots facility was built, requiring the destruction of two of the best holes on the course. A couple of par 3's were cramed in to keep it an 18 hole course. The design was ruined. The course was ruined. "It's still an 18 hole course". Yeah. And if you slash the Mona Lisa with a knife, it's still a painting. End of rant.
10 out of 10
Such a beautiful course. Good for beginners and still hard enough for experts. Beautiful grass and dance floor greens. Friendly staff, and marshals, and a little pricey, but I’ve played much worse courses for more money.
It’s where I choose to play golf every chance I can. It’s close to a lot of food, and other entertainment.
I wish I could play this course every single day, but until I’m able to, I will play it every chance I get!!!
Good course
Good course for price about on par for surrounding courses. Staff was friendly carts where in good shape
Damp but doable
The course was wet because of a lot of rain the previous night. All things considered, it was a fun round on a damp day. The staff was helpful and friendly. Everyone made the best out of a less than ideal situation. I would definitely play here again.
THE BEST!!!
Best spot to play a round of golf. The staff is always friendly and the prices are not insane like other courses.
