Interesting course layout. Par 71 so lots of par threes on the back side. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Tee boxes were a bit rough and sandy.

Many holes require a precisely positioned tee shot. Certainly an enjoyable experience.

There is a need for a restroom on the back nine, especially if playing with a female friend.

The pace of play was somewhat slow. We were playing as a twosome but waiting on every shot. Eventually a single caught up and joined us but we continued to have to wait on every shot. Some marshaling would have helped move the pace. Still played in under 4.5 but I expect closer to 4 hours weekdays.

We’ll likely play there again but given all of the DFW options and current cost of gas, we’ll keep looking for closer options.

This course is one of our regular plays in the area. Course is in great shape and the staff is awesome here. My only 2 complaints are that they really need to hurry and finish the club house renovation - it's been closed for a while, and they need to plant more trees on the back 9 for shade. We played in 110 degree heat and it would've been nice to have some shade on the back stretch. All in all, great course - I recommend playing it!

The title of my review doesn’t tell the whole story. Is it a nice course? Yes it was in great condition. However the greens were punched and charged full price. So there’s that. They were healing but still a factor. The course underwent a redesign when they lost some property. Well if you use a GPS it probably won’t work. The holes are wrong, they’ve been renumbered. They know this. I don’t understand why they haven’t reached out to Garmin and had them redo the course yet. Weird. Also they don’t have cart GPS so you’re kinda lost out there. My GPS worked on some holes about 9 of them. Although I found them inaccurate. I was 10-15 yards from the center of the green and it was telling me I was 28 yards out. I spoke with the Marshall about this they know. Now you know. Friendly staff, it was a good experience over all just frustrating when they know have an issue and nobody has tried to fix it. Also being charged full price for punched greens is not cool.

Layout is pretty tough - my advice is probably to play a tee up from what the distances say. Lots of hazards penalizing tee shots - if you are more than a 20 handicapper this course will prob not be much fun. That being said, a pretty cool layout - the course is in decent shape other than the greens which were punched 12 days earlier and still not that close to healing. not an expert but I'd guess not nearly enough sand after aerification. Some good risk reward holes and a few odd designs. good value and would be 4 stars if the greens are healed up

I have played this course for years and I still love it. The only negative is the drink service is poor. There were two drink service carts running today and we did not see our first one until the back 9. Four years ago, the drink service was top notch. One of the cart girls seemed to be more interested with being on her phone parked under a tree instead of making money.

It will be nice when the clubhouse is finished and I wish they would go back to the original front nine first other than that overall very good.

Had a great time with family and friends. Course is in great shape and we got lucky with the very volatile Springtime North Texas weather. Champions remains on the short list in our rotation; it's a real value. Will be back soon.

Hope the new clubhouse opens soon however.

Course was in great shape. With the clubhouse under construction, there is nowhere to get a drink or snack. You must wait until the cart girl finds you. Other than that, great experience.

Green we’re in excellent shape. Very soft and too fast. Fairways still need some work, but overall this is a great value for the money.

I’m a 9 hndcp and played the white tees which I found very playable. A couple par 4s were ‘too’ short but the rest of the layout was terrific. Par 3’s I hit 9,4,8&6 irons. Great track and be sure to keep it out of trees and hazards. Come try it out.

The course is in pretty rough shape. Several tee boxes have patchy grass at best, some fairways are like concrete and some greens are rough.

There are currently no clubhouse amenities. The pro shop is being remodeled, and there is nowhere to get any kind of beverage except from the drink cart, which we saw once during our round.

I played this course once 5 years ago and was underwhelmed. Nothing has changed over time. I’d expect a lot more from a Marriott course.

The lay-out is very nice.. Fairways were a bit rough, but the greens were in good shape.. Clubhouse was under construction, but still a nice play for the money.
