The AAA Four-Diamond resort features 168 guest rooms, several pools (include one adults-only and a swim-up bar) and numerous bars and restaurants. Tee Time through Golf Now
Hot Deal through Golf Now was 39.99. Total fee after
tax etc. $48 00 Staff was very accommodating and the facility is golfer friendly. Course was brown dormant bermuda, which is to be expected in January. greens in good shape and shape, ball rolled true and fast enough.
Nice course but too expensive for me without Golf Now.

Aggravating pace
Played this course once before and liked it. Heard a ton of people gripe about it going downhill but I figured I’d give it another shot. Quit after 9 after tracking a 5+ hour round. No Marshall to be seen helping keep pace. Greens are just Ok.

Great course unfriendly staff.
Falcon head is a beautiful, fun course. However, on this day one of our players had to cancel due to child care issues. I advised the staff of this and was still charged a fee for the no show. I understand that it’s policy but when it’s mid week and the course is not busy, I don’t see why this was necessary. Also they decided to water the greens while the course was being played. Over unhappy with my experience on this day.

King of the 5 hour round!
Only reason i played this course again was due to a cheap hot deal but never again no matter how cheap. Pace is horrible here, no fun hitting a golf shot every 15 minutes and marshals don't do nothing about the pace. The course gets your money, doesn't care about managing pace and wants you to have an awful time.

Pace of play sucks as always, overrated course
Pace of play here is always horrible. I decided to give it another chance due to cold weather and parking lot was not that full but nope, pace was still bad and finished in 5 hours. No Marshall on the course to do anything about pace either.
Someone in a review also said they over seeded the course but that's a lie, they didn't put any winter rye down. Course in ok shape but its way overpriced. Only reason i played here is because of super cheap hotdeal. Crazy to think people pay 80 bucks to play this course and suffer with the pace of play.

Fun and approachable Hill Country golf
Visited over Christmas break and had ideal conditions. A couple holes appeared to be roughed up from weather damage (bare spots on fairway and green) but overall the course was in great shape for the winter. Layout was pretty straightforward with minimal hazards to contend with. Would definitely play it again on my next visit to Austin.

Nice course but...
Felt like I was playing a very hilly hybrid links course.
I couldn't adjust to the speed of the greens because some felt faster than others. I left a handful of birdie putts short all day.
The party 4s are long, curvy, hilly and challenging. It was super windy the day I played so it made it even tougher to hit the fairway.
I might play again but to me this course doesn't really interest me in playing here often.
