About Lighthouse Country Club
Located in the Texas Hill Country just off of Lake LBJ, Lighthouse Country Club in Kingsland is an 18-hole golf course with several vacation homes to rent out. These 2-bedroom/2-bathroom 1,300-square-foot units are steps from the clubhouse, which features dining and overlooks the scenic golf course. Lighthouse (formerly Packsaddle Country Club, named after nearby Packsaddle Mountain) is an affordable stay-and-play option. The semi-private golf course, originally opened in 1968 but renovated in 2006 and purchased in 2011, has made the Golfers' Choice Top 25 golf courses in Texas in multiple years and Golfers' Choice best value in the country list.Facts

great course
very nice hard for duffers unless you concentrate. then go course
Front 9 is a very unique experience
Love the front nine, back nine nothing special. Course in good condition, great value, will definitely play again and again.
Hidden Gem
A fabulous layout hidden in the outskirts of Kingsland, Texas - a remote small community on lake LBJ in central Texas. Don't tell anyone . . .
Bargain
Always include this course in our hill country golf adventures. Cannot beat the price for a course with interesting holes like this one has!
Best in this Area
The course is well maintained, very attractive and also challenging. Unfortunately they do not have a Chef at this time so the restaurant is closed.
Nice challenging greens
Most enjoyable, good value nice course,,very fair,
putting very challenging
super fast greens and lots of wind made putting a lot of fun

Great value greens were fast and very good shape, course condition was great. Was held to the tee time we booked couldn’t go early even though it was open.
Excellent course conditions
Best I have ever seen this course. Have not played in 2 years because of the course conditions but this course was in great shape. Greens were awesome and fairways were plush. I drive 50 miles to play there and I will again.
Great course and very challenging
Fast true greens. Lots of undulations make tricky greens! Lots of traps. Need to think your way around this course and be able to make all shots. Not long but not easy to score on. Fun to play but Zane hour 15 from my house
Good course slow pace.
Course was in good shape. Course had a members tournament before our time but owner is not Golf Now friendly. Absolutely no changes to time. We had to follow a Jack & Jill when we could have went in front. Extremely slow. Advice would be to check first before booking. Worth playing if pace is ok.
