Lighthouse Country Club

Great course, good value for the money. It was fun and greens are in great conditions. I would recommend trying it.

Course was in great shape and the staff was awesome.

Lighthouse is a nice, unpretentious, less-crowded course in the Texas Highland Lakes area with really good greens. Tee boxes are currently being over-seeded, and I look forward to seeing winter-season condition of course. Really nice staff and new golf carts!

First of all I love playing this course. However, all of the tee boxes were closed so you had to hit from temporary extremely uneven with long grass tee boxes. Also the driving range was closed. There should have been some type of prior notification of the course conditions. We also had to pay full price for this

Overall a nice place to play, Young man at check-in counter was great…very friendly and enthusiastic. Course was good, but on the shorter side, a 71 Par if I remember correctly, but still good with nice scenery and some challenging holes. Was not very busy at all on a Saturday morning. We were able to play as a twosome and moved along well enough. Only bad part really was a couple of cups were not cut very well, not sure if this was due to the sharpness of the cup cutter or just the grass and the way it was growing. This situation did not allow for a couple of cups to be perfectly round at the top. No real biggie for me and my casual play, but might not appeal to more serious golfers. I would definitely golf here again, however, with all the golf course choices in the area, it might be hard to get back any time soon wanting to try the other courses as well.

I love this course. Not too difficult and has some really pretty holes.

Lighthouse is a quaint, remarkably beautiful course with water, sand and hills. Houses surrounding the course are well placed with very little chance of problems.

Every time that I get to play there, I come away relaxed and happy (except for my golf score - but that's on me.).

The clubhouse is due to open up again soon due to tornado damage, but there is also a large bar and gathering spot - so it's all good.

It is 5mi from town, so everything you need is nearby. If you need to rent a place, there are plenty of spots available in Kingsland, TX, and a small RV spot on the course.

Great course and we had a great time, friendly staff, new golf carts, the layout is enjoyable, my wife had fun too 😀

The course was in amazing condition. We had perfect weather and the pace of play was manageable. Staff was not overly helpful and the starter was rude.

Fairways were in great shape. Greens were in great shape except for a few on the back nine that had some burn marks on them . Very interesting course with a lot of character. Staff all very friendly and starter let us go off first since we were a twosome . 3 hour round on a Sunday can’t be beat. Will play this gem again
