About Sonesta Bee Cave
The Sonesta Bee Cave is located 20 minutes west off Austin off Highway 71 in the Hill Country Galleria, home to a collection of shops, bars and restaurants. There is no golf course onsite but there is shuttle service to the nearby Lakeway golf courses, including public Falconhead Golf Club, and the hotel does have some limited access to the private courses at the Clubs of Lakeway. The Sonesta Bee Cave features a large, outdoor courtyard pool, 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a 5,300 square foot ballroom. Lake Travis is minutes away where a marina can be accessed, and world-famous Hamilton Pool is also a short drive away. A highlight of the Sonesta Bee Cave is not only the galleria shops and restaurants but the hotel's own rooftop Meridian 98, which features cocktails and specialty plates in a lively setting that hosts live music.Facts

Fun at Falcon-head
Had a great time playing at Falconhead…. Challenging course in very good condition …very friendly staff as well
Beautiful Course...but a 5-some?
First time playing Falconhead and the course is awesome! Unfortunately, we were stuck behind a 5-some that was two holes behind after 9 holes. We didn't see a marshal until about the 14th hole so the damage was done and the round took over 5 hours from an 8:30 tee time. Other than pace of play, the course was in great shape and was a great layout with lots of elevation changes and prefect greens.
Very good course even better staff
Course is great staff is friendly even though some of the golfers are douchebags. Brenda is the best! She always has what you need.

Friday golf
We got there with very few time to warmup.
Got paired up with 2 very nice guys who had already played the course and gave is few advice.
Tee box and fairways, pretty good conditions
Greens a little dry and bouncey, but for summer they were very well taken care of.
In general, very nice course and not too hard.

Pace of play
Started 10 min late and round still took 5 hr 10 min. Great condition tho. If you can get out there early before they manage to blow the pace up it’s awesome.

Good course. Seemed to play longer than stated yardages ( blue tees) . Greens in good shape, as were fairways ( especially for a hot dry summer)

Nice course!
Played it twice course is scenic and fun to play. It’s a little tough and some greens need work but overall you won’t be disappointed. Staff is great!!
Expect to play a 4.5 hr round.
