About Sonesta Bee Cave
The Sonesta Bee Cave is located 20 minutes west off Austin off Highway 71 in the Hill Country Galleria, home to a collection of shops, bars and restaurants. There is no golf course onsite but there is shuttle service to the nearby Lakeway golf courses, including public Falconhead Golf Club, and the hotel does have some limited access to the private courses at the Clubs of Lakeway. The Sonesta Bee Cave features a large, outdoor courtyard pool, 10,000 square feet of meeting space and a 5,300 square foot ballroom. Lake Travis is minutes away where a marina can be accessed, and world-famous Hamilton Pool is also a short drive away. A highlight of the Sonesta Bee Cave is not only the galleria shops and restaurants but the hotel's own rooftop Meridian 98, which features cocktails and specialty plates in a lively setting that hosts live music.Facts

Great track if you have five hours to play
Love falconhead, it’s one of the best course layouts period. It is very challenging and long and tends to get some newer players, I’ve yet to finish a round here in under five hours with many times 2-3 groups stacked up on a hole. Marshall’s don’t seem to push people along
Great Course great price
Good friendly staff the course was in great shape and it was a fun course well balanced
Excellent course definitely worth it not for any hacks consider moving up a T next time thoroughly enjoyed it putting was so smooth it very predictable even though the greens have quite a bit of slope.
One of the better courses in Austin
The only fault I find is the poor quality of sand in the traps. Otherwise it is great. Really like the ice in the cart cooler and the plug in for your phone. Will definitely play this course often.
Great tournaments
We hosted a Nextgengolf City Tour event with Falconhead and their tournament staff is top notch. Not only is the course fantastic but the staff at Falconhead is some of the best in Texas.
Great Experience
The course was in excellent condition and the greens were perfect. The elevation changes make for some great views of the surrounding area. The price was very reasonable and we got great value for our money. I will be back soon.
Good Shape
The course was in great condition. It was amazing considering the Texas heat in August. The course is challenging, but fair. We will play there again soon.
Falcon head
Played this course before. It’s a beautiful course. Plays long, pace is quick. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely play it again.
Falconhead was Fabulous!
Great day for golf at Falconhead! Loved the course, especially #8.... Fivesome in front of us was kind of slow, but otherwise an enjoyable round!
Pro course
Beautiful and well kept in excellent condition. Could use better, more fluffy sand in traps. Lacks yardage markers on course. Each golf cart comes with cooler containing ice.
tough greens to putt
Gorgeous layout..fantastic shape....tough greens to putt with subtle changes due to the hills... generous wide fairways...course was in great shape..pace of play was outstanding...it's played through a PUD with a variety of homes on the edges but not too close to the course...pro shop and bar area are nothing special...but had a decent chicken salad sandwich... a good variety of tough par 3's and tough par 4's to go with some easier holes...it has a driving range....
Great Course, Scenery, and Play
I loved this course, and I will be back to play many times.
First time playing Falcon head, and enjoyed the round even if the score did not reflect it. Course is in great condition and provides challenges for every golfer! 2 thumbs up!
