Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

It has been a couple of years since we've played that course. But we enjoyed playing the course and would play it again it we get a chance.

Despite water conditions, the condition of the course is better than it was a couple of months ago.

Was a little disappointed with the beverage cart girls. We saw one on #3 hole and no more. When we teed off on 15 and came to our t shots there were 2 beverage carts sitting at the par 3 7th visiting with a group of guys. Some gatoraide or something like a snack would have been nice. It was hot and when you are old that is not a good combination. Bunkers could use some work.

Great place to bring friends, or business partners. Great service.

My friends and myself had a lot of fun. We would love to play there again. The only thing missing is a cart girl

Great layout and fun to play. Tee boxes were shaggy and greens very slow. Difficult to find my way around the course. Need more signage to show direction to tee boxes. GPS had me on the wrong hole twice. Worth the price.

I've played here several times and it's always a fun experience. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

You couldn't ask for a better place to put a golf course every where you look it's beautiful ponds hills and cliffs I have played almost every course in San Antonio and I would put this one at around top 20 and if the greens were in a little better shape it would be top 10 I will return and play this course again in the winter and compare conditions then

Nice layout with beautiful scenery. The greens need a little work but overall playability was great.

The texture of the grass on the greens was course.
Possibly with more growth they will be as good a Willow Springs.

This is a must play course. Not overly challenging but has some risk/reward holes. Some greens could use work but the overall condition and beauty of the course is amazing. A good chance to test all over your game

I think with a little more care and maintenance, this course could be much, much, better potential, and the Green Fee cost for the place is not worth it, due to the distance you have to drive (From San Antonio) and the amount of options out there.

What a great place to relax and play golf. The staff was amazing. Hospitality started in the parking lot with Taylor and extended throughout the course and the day, even the grounds crew was willing to stop and talk. Jonathan and Stewart (the assistant pros) are awesome guys and willing to help. Even the locals were a joy to talk to and play golf with. The grounds crew has done an amazing job with the course with little water. We will definitely return to Tapatio, hopefully soon.

I enjoy Tapatio Springs GC because of the condition and the flow of play. Excellent staff. I would recommend Tapatio Springs to everyone.

The facility and staff were very good to excellent. The course was fair to good, the fairways were good but the experience was made fair as a result of the poor condition of the greens. I've played this course several times and while they are trying to make improvements there is always something that affects my overall rating of between fair and good.

Tapatio has become our affordable golf resort of choice. We have visited over a dozen times over the last 7 years, and everything gets better with every visit.

This course is on the way back to being as good or better than it ever was! The greens just need a little more TLC and a break with the weather. The layout is very challenging with several risk/reward shots. Not many courses can boast the beauty of the surrounding hills and backdrops. You will not be disappointed with the improvements, particularly with the dining and clubhouse.

the golf shop staff was surly at best. we were a 2-some with 12 handicaps. we were HIT into twice within 3 holes. no one bothered to care or apologize. being HIT by a moving golf ball is very dangerous---someone needs to let the cat out of the bag! the layout of the course is so haphazard with very little information regarding course layout. we had a gps but it went haywire after the 3rd hole--again the golf shop could have cared less. no need to replay this course that i have heard raves of for a dozen years!!!

The course is in wonderful condition . The course has the potential of being far or a bear depending on your skill level . The staff are all very nice and accommodating , made me feel at home . I would recommend that every one visit this gem in the hill Country
