Hot day cold staff
Have played this course every year for the last 15-20 yrs on our family vacation. Course is in decent shape. Pro shop, ranger and beverage cart friendliness has gone down over the last few years. However the prices have gone up a lot. Probably explains why the number of people on the course has gone down. Moreover, couldn’t get any GN discounts due to the time restrictions and the courses making you pay at the course.
Great course
The course was in very good condition and the layout is awesome! Would definitely play again!

Great course, good challenge
This was my first time Playing it, it won’t be my last. The conditioner were good and course is obviously well maintained. I read some reviews where some people complained about gophers, I didn’t see a single one or evidence of gopher holes either. I did see a groundhog or two but they were in the woods not on the course or even in the rough. Be prepared to play the hills and slopes for sure which is definitely a by design challenge. Golf is called golf not by the name of east for a reason. I’m a 12 handicap and shot a 88 for my first round there. Literally the only thing I didn’t encounter on the course that I would have liked on a 90 plus day was a beverage cart. So load up at the start and hit grill for more at the turn.
Super nice and convenient course. Some good target golfing if you like target golf.
Do yourself a favor and know the Driver won't be your most used club (after your putter of course).
Aggressive Gophers
Very good course, if gophers can be gotten under control? First time I had to use my club to push away an aggressive gopher! Holes are all over the place and not just near the greens. Otherwise enjoyed playing here again and will come back again.
MORE GOPHER HOLES
Just like the meadows course here, the gophers are taking over and ruining this beautiful course! Someone needs to work on getting rid of these pests. Anyway, course was more challenging than The Meadoows, but still fun to play. I actually managed my first birdies in several years, so made me happy to play on.
Gopher Haven
Beautiful course; more challenging than the Meadows course here. Lot of gopher holes on every fairway; saw at least two on every hole! These should be controlled better as the r causing a lot of damage to the edge of the fairways all over.
Great views
This was an outstanding experience. Beautiful views and a challenging course. The greens were fast but inconsistent (which is to be expected as some holes get more sun than others. Fairways are not level due to being on the side of a Mountain. If you are OK with a higher score than normal and a few good shots rolling out of play than you will lo e this course. Great course for value.
Fun course
The course was a lot fun and very challenging. It requires a high degree of accuracy off the tee.
The bunkers weren’t well manicured and the restrooms were locked.
I would come back to play again further into the season.
Fun Short Game Tuneup
Par 65 course so lots of par threes to work on short game. Beautiful surroundings so a very pleasant outing.
Pretty
The course is narrow and challenging. Plenty of views and friendly wildlife
Beautiful course
Played this course 2x in a week. Loved the course and the scenery. Greens were well kept.
Desk staff on both days were a little brash and not welcoming as were the starters. All 4 of us walked away from those encounters a little surprised by the snarky ness.
One of our favorite courses!
The course was in great condition. The staff could not have been friendlier. Rebecca found my range finder I dropped and returned it to me. We will keep coming back to this course.
View from afar
The course looks great when driving by. A little different on playing because the tee boxes are pretty bad and the sand traps are inconsistent.
However, this short course plays a bit tougher because almost every hole has elevation changes where you are hitting up to or down to the green.
Greens run true, are in good shape, but a little slow.
Great course and location
We really enjoy playing this course and take advantage of the GN hot deals whenever we see them for this course
