Slowvalee
Pace of play was miserable. Didn’t tee off until half hour after scheduled time then was waiting on every hole after that. Finished 12 holes in just under 4 hours and decided to quit because there were three groups including us waiting on a tee. No marshal keeping pace moving and guessing they overbooked. Blamed it on a frost delay which is a stretch based on the weather. The course was scenic and in good shape though the rough was us open thick which does not help pace of play with a lot of blind shots.
Soaked!
The course was soaked probably due to the hurricane, but was sure nice to get out for around. On the bright side we could fire right at the pins resulting in 2 birdies and a few missed opportunities. We are from out of town, so this was our warm up round. Playing other courses before we head back to Ontario. GN is the best!
Un Perfecto
The head pro did go the extra mile by pairing me up Because I was first playing by my self. Then after my first nine I was lucky to be with another two which I really enjoyed. Love the layout of this BJ course. Can’t wait to play again mates
Golf nut
Course in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow. We were behind a foursome that wouldn’t let the two of us play through. Overall not bad. Will be going back.
A hot day for golf
The temperature was very hot. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the starter didn't mention that he had coolers full of water and that the course had none. It was too challenging at my age to go those first nine without adequate water. Also, the scorecards didn't indicate the locations for the restroom options on the course. Everything was very dry. I quit after the 14th hole because of exhaustion. It was disappointing.
Still great
Even with the 100 degree temperatures and lack of rain it was in great shape. Well done! Can’t wait to go back

Very nice 27 hole course in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Course was in good condition and a good value.
