Shenvalee Golf Resort

Challenging for the first time. Some holes could not determine how hole plays. Bling shots.

Shenvalee fits my game perfectly. Not too easy and not too difficult. It is always in good condition and everyone there is very friendly. It is a nice layout and worth the drive.

Very well kept for being a public course at 28$ a round

The members at this course call the shots and they makes petty complaints on non members even on issues that do not effect them what so ever. This is a public course however the members try to make the public feel inferior. Not to mention it seems as the grounds crew seem to be lazy by not cleaning up grass clippings. All that resulted in a disappointing day of golf. Not much fun was had.

The breathtaking views of mountains alone was worth spending the day on this course. Greens and fairways in great shape.. Very player-friendly course. Will play here again when traveling through this area.

Booked as a single paired up with another fellow. Pro shop staff and the starter super nice and friendly when I mentioned that I was visiting from Canada. Played the Miller and Olde courses in 4 hours. Miller course has some very quirky holes that you really have to play a few times to get familiar with them. 2nd hole has more ups and downs than a roller coaster, 4th hole can play as either a par 3 or par 4. Couple of other holes have blind shots. Olde course is more traditional. 2nd and 8th holes on the Olde Course are really nice. Nice restaurant too for a meal after the round.

My late father and uncle used to come play Shenvalle with a bunch of old fogies. Now I practically am one, I wanted to carry on the tradition and can see why they liked it here. Conclusion? Wonderful people, great layout with variety over 3 very different 9’s, and exceptional value for the money.

Was it worth a 10 hour drive to spend a few days here?

Yes, yes it was.

And we’ll be back.

The course is a very good course….the 2nd day got me more appreciative.

The course was overrun by once a year golfers demonstrating total disrespect of golfing etiquette.

At one point, there were 3 golfers on a cart playing out of two sets of clubs.

Other large groups playing together 16 together( 4 x foursomes) were totally preoccupied with having a blast.

The group in front of us each took two tee shots…….I guess I’t didn’t matter , if you’re going nowhere.

Definitely not a time for a semi serious golf game.

The manager at the front desk was very personable and engaging and professional, but the starter was clueless and the roaming Marshall was useless.

Love to go back but maybe on a week day with minimal golfers, I.e. off season!!

Many fine holes, up and down, rolling fast, delightful staff. Course will only get better as Spring turns fully in place. Already a lot of green grass everywhere you look!

Even better than expected. Great course lay out with plenty of challenges. Staff were super nice and helpful.

Beautiful old course, well maintained. My eleven year old grandson really enjoyed the course too. This is a family friendly course. We will definitely play here again.

The Shenvalee is a great course for golfers of all skills to play. The staff is always friendly and the course is ALWAYS in fantastic condition. Simply put, The Shenvalee knows how to run a golf course/resort!

All 18 holes are excellent condition kept up and Looks great
