About The Tides Inn

The historic Tides Inn dates back to 1947 and is located on the Virginia Coast along Chesapeake Bay and on the Virginia Wine Trail and Virginia Oyster Trail. Golden Eagle Golf Club, located three miles away, is an amenity of the resort and was designed by George Cobb. It is also home to a nine-hole, par-3 golf course that is included in green fees. The Tides Inn has a half mile of Chesapeake Bay frontage, three dining concepts including an Oyster Bar, a fleet of bicycles for rent and a 60-slip overnight marina. The Tides Inn underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation in 2020 to its 70-room property, which has 66 guest rooms and four luxury suites.
