Wintergreen Resort

This course is beautiful but not in good shape. The greens are terrible, the fairways were good and the rough is extremely difficult to find your ball. I would not play this course for more than $50

Great bones to be a good course but maintenance is extremely poor. Greens are in absolutely terrible shape. Good number of tee boxes are overgrown. Greens fee is criminal given the current state of the course; better putting conditions in the local pasture.

Played this course with my friends many times over the years and decided to take my family out for a round. The course layout has always been great but not in as great of shape as I remember. The greens were extremely slow and too soft, the tee boxes are cut way too high, and bare spots on a lot of the greens. Would probably play this again in spring or fall but, do not feel I got value for what I paid this time.

Course was in very good shape tee to green. Played Monocan to Shamokin. Both 9’s were in very shape and the greens were smoothe. Looking forward to playing there again.

Showed up to the course with our Golf Now booking only to pay an extra $60 because the lady in the proshop said their prices went up earlier that week. Very disappointed and will play different courses in the area if I return.

After 3 days of steady rain the course drainage system is top notch! Course conditions were great with greens that rolled true. Got to play this course in its full glory with Stoney Creek full of water the scenery around the course was breathtaking.

Fun round, Greens were in really good condition. Bunker maintenance was excellent. Fairways were dormant of course but very playable. Late last summer the greens on these two nines were in terrible shape and I was very critical of the management on this issue. Highly unusual for one of the finest courses in our region. I have been amazed, however, by how quickly and thoroughly they addressed this issue. I am sure I am not the only one who is thankful that Stony Creek is again offering such a high standard of experience.

Played here 3 or 4 times a year for over 25 years. One of my favorite local courses. Usually in very good shape. Not so right now. Worst conditions I have ever seen at Stoney Creek., especially the greens. Real shame.

Sad. This course used to be pretty good but it is in such bad shape due to neglect and under investment by the resort it is a miserable play now. Weeds everywhere, slowest greens ever (in the areas where the aren’t bare spots), unplayable rough due to lack of mowing. You can’t even get a good lie on the tee boxes. Yuck!

Greens were bad. No one repairs their divots. Need a ranger on course to speed up play. Bunker sand hard as a rock. If you can play this course for under 50 thats not a bad deal. I would never pay 90 bucks. Scenery is great and course layout is nice.

The course is in good condition and staff are friendly.

The restaurant service is very poor and that's why I would not recommend.
