Enjoyed playing this course again. Course was in good condition and very playable . It is a very fair course for the average golfer and would play it again. The different sets of tees allows golfers of all abilities to ah and enjoy it.

A MUST PLAY FOR ANY GOLFER AND YOU WILL WANT TO PLAY IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

The experience was enjoyable! It is worth the money if played thru golfnow! (Half off) At the end of the day to be able to play some replica holes adds some prestige to your round. The other holes on the course can be as difficult ,and can provide agood challenge.

Each hole seems isolated from the outside world. Greens are pristine, course is in great shape.

The course was hard yet; its need watering to green up the tee boxes; the fairway were just satisfactory.
I don't believe the course is worth the fees that they ask. I paid a discounted $70 but I still believe this too much for the course.

best course I've played this year even though it was past prime season

The course was in great condition for the fall. The staff was accommodating and the beverage cart was out frequently.

Loved the course. The views were great. The replica holes
with the history description on score card, very nice. Hole #10 the island green one my favroite, as the favroite of other golfers I'm sure. Also loved hole #18.
Most fairways are quite wide and forgiven for hi-handicapers.
The included practice area is top notch.
The pro shop staff were very nice. My only regret is that I live
over 2 hours away, so I can only enjoy the course a few times a year.

we got a special thru golf now-certainly would not pay full price for the course conditions. Fairways were very thin and the sand traps needed edging. The greens were fast and nice but very overpriced without a discount

Staff- nice and friendly, great staff

Course conditions- Terrible, not maintained at all.

Fairways- not mowed, long grass, patchy grass a lot of grassless spots

Bunkers- worst bunkers I have ever seen, there are no crisp edges to any of the bunkers. None of the bunkers were raked. The bunkers look like someone just dumped a bunch of sand on the ground in random areas.

Tee boxes- long grass and patchy areas just like the fairways not trimmed up nice at all.

Greens- were in good shape they look like some one actually pays attention to them.

Rough- Long and patchy, and full of dry mud. It looks like dried out farmland with some patches of long grass

Replica holes- This course is known for its replica holes. The 10th hole which is the famous 17th hole island green at TPC Sawgrass which is the best hole on the course. All the other replica holes just have parts of the original holes that are nothing special at all and often play minor roles in the hole itself.

Location is terrible, its in the middle of now where, there is nothing around this place besides the resort/condos across the street.

Conclusion- I drove 3 hours to this course and was alright with that because I only paid $30, if I paid full price I would have been outraged. The layout of this course is nice, but the grounds crew must have taken the year off because it was in absolute terrible condition. I always see this course on the top 10 list of courses in Wisconsin and this course being on the list is an embarrassment to the other courses on the list. Nice staff, but not worth full price, worth about $40 at most because of the poor condition of the course which has been a problem for some years now I've heard.

Awesome course. would have finished comfortably but got stuck behind a foursome. Couldn't really play 18.

I'VE PLAYED THIS COURSE BEFORE, AND IT'S ALWAYS BEEN PRISTINE YESTERDAY THE GREENS WERE TERRIBLE,BALL MARKS EVERYWHERE. THE ONLY OTHER COMPLAINT WAS THE GROUP TWO IN FRONT OF US REALLY HELD UP PLAY I WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY UPSET IF IWOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE . I DO LOVE THE COURSE AND WILL PLAY IT AGAIN JUST A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME. THANK YOU GOLFNOW THIS IS TRULY A GREAT SERVICE YOU OFFER MY HATS OFF TO ALL.

The Castle Course was in very good shape. The greens held iron shots and putted true. Fairways were in good shape. They have started to aerate the tees.

Pace of play was slow. Took 5 hours. Couple of foursomes ahead of us were extremely slow. Would have been nice to have a ranger who would have encouraged them to play faster - WHILE WE ARE YOUNG!!

Staff behind the counter and cart girl were friendly and personable.

This course is known for the replica holes. They keep these in pristine shape. Super fun testing yourself against what the pro's play! When getting a great deal on Golfnow, I highly recommend this course!

Replica holes were a lot of fun, but the whole course was great. Two of the par 5's were over 600 yards...a real challenge but a lot of fun.

Great layout - very helpful staff.
Challenges for any skill level.

This was a very well maintained course and I loved the replica holes from famous courses that were part of the PGA championships. Fun and challenging.
