My wife and I really enjoyed the course. This was our second time playing it.

Terrible experience trying to book a tee time. Phone person could not help me unless I created an account. Poor personal servoce

Very scenic with excellent course conditions. Challenging enough to keep you interested but not so difficult you leave feeling frustrated. The pace of play can be on the slow side in the afternoon.

Overall, nice time. Greens are very slow and looks like something is infecting them

Tee times are every 10 minutes and although we played very appropriately (sometimes waiting for the foursome ahead to clear the fairway before we hit and always keeping up pace of play), an expert group behind us of a pro and his son hit into us as we were leaving the green on a par 5. That was the closest I have ever been to getting hit on a golf course. And no fore and no apologies when their carts caught ours on the next par 3. I was polite but that really tainted my day. Solution is to spread the foursomes out at least a few more minutes.

Nice course rolling elevation changes and some very challenging par 3’s. Generous fairways. Overall course in very good shape.

Beautiful layout and experience. Very hilly terrain and lots of challenging carries. Very undulating greens! True test of golf!

Played for the first time this season at Wild Rock. Last time played here was in July 2025 and they were experiencing significant issues with some of their greens. You would never know it now as all the greens were in an amazing shape. This course is great and arguable the best course in the Dells area. They have followed the trend of my local course with taking some trees down in some areas to allow for better growth. Changes the site lines on a few holes but definitely for the better in my opinion! Love playing this course and believe you will to!

Staff was very friendly. Generous lush fairways with challenging green complexes. Rolling hills with views of distant hills.

This is a must play public course in Wisconsin. Multiple tees challenge every level of golfer. Open off the tee but challenging, newly nodded greens. The superintendent knows what he's doing here with shaved approaches and the course starting to play more firm and fast than years past. Course sets up for risk/reward golf and separates goid shots from bad. Tons of variety in the holes. Just solid.

there is nothing wrong with the course, it is long, the fairways are huge making scoring moderate to easy. I was significantly disappointed in the proshop staff and bag boy. I do not need special treatment, but at $120 a round I do think some professionalism and attention to detail matters. It was a rainy wet day, storms had gone through and when I arrived early for our tee time the staff in the proshop looked annoyed that we decided to golf. I mentioned the radar looked okay, that the bad stuff had gone through. I was met with "well you can go anytime you want, it is cart path only, it won' t be fun, there is no bev cart so you will need to load up in the bar, you can start when you are ready. remember to keep the carts on the cart path, okay?" so first of all. I am paying to play, do not be annoyed when I show up. Second, I fully understand that when it is wet it is cart path only I do not need a an accusitory reminder. third who needs to "load up at the bar" prior to golfing, I did not come to drink, I came to golf. third, why won't it be fun? fourth, no one grabbed our bags that were set in the arrival spot. we had to carry them ourselves down a flight of stairs and then try to find a cart which were all soaked, there was no attendant, no ranger no nothing. after the round similar situation. the cart attendant/bag boy came out, jokingly said he refused to touch a partner of mine's Ohio State Buckeye golf bag...very appropriate and nothing wrong with the friendly banter, but that was followed with him standing and watching us remove our bags, carry them up around the side of the building to the cars. no offer to clean the clubs, grab our bags etc. What exactly was he doing there? were it not for the great group I was golfing with, it would have ranked up there with one of the worst rounds I have every experienced. not played, experienced. If they want to demand a premium price, I should expect a premium experience.
