About Wilderness Resort
The Wilderness is the premier golf and waterpark destination in the Wisconsin Dells. The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort features 444 guest rooms, 40 vacation villas, 76 condos and 35 cabins. Nearby, the Wilderness on the Lake includes 108 luxury two- and three-bedrooms overlooking Lake Delton, and Glacier Canyon Lodge features 460 upscale condo units. Restaurants range from the Thirsty Buffalo Saloon and Survivor’s Bar & Grill to various grab and go options at the indoor and outdoor waterparks. Beautiful setting for a round of golf!
Beautiful course; challenging too! I will say, however, that the greens were very hard & extremely fast when I played, making a challenging course that much harder. But don’t get me wrong, I will definitely come back and play this course again! Amenities were good and service was great!
The greens were really dry, hard and the pin placements were awful!
Pin Placement
Most of the pin placements were on top of a crown on the greens, making it nearly impossible to navigate putting these greens.
Made the course unplayable for an average player
The group in front of us was very slow. Marshall was driving around and not sure he woke to the group.
Great course, great value!
Course was in great shape with extremely challenging pin positions the day we played. Finished 18 holes in under four hours. Look forward to coming back and playing Wild Rock again in the near future.
Great Day to Golf
I had a group of 16 on the course and we had a great time. Th pace was good and the course was in good shape.
Play it it you can
Great course. Early May and the course is excellent. 11 stump greens, smooth, the whole course is in great condition. The layout is challenging and fun. Don’t short side yourself… you will pay dearly. One of our favorites in the greater madison area, best by far in the dells.
Always a fun round. Love to finish on the short course after our 18.
Was an awesome day with friends on my birthday.. can’t wait to come back towards end of summer to get the spectacular view of full trees and beautiful scenery that course gives you. Greens ? Never seen anything like it a pin placement humbles you in a hurry. Awesome day thanks for having us.
