About Wilderness Resort

The Wilderness is the premier golf and waterpark destination in the Wisconsin Dells. The Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort features 444 guest rooms, 40 vacation villas, 76 condos and 35 cabins. Nearby, the Wilderness on the Lake includes 108 luxury two- and three-bedrooms overlooking Lake Delton, and Glacier Canyon Lodge features 460 upscale condo units. Restaurants range from the Thirsty Buffalo Saloon and Survivor’s Bar & Grill to various grab and go options at the indoor and outdoor waterparks. The entertainment expands to a laser maze, black-light mini-golf, indoor bumper boats and go carts, outdoor go carts, escape rooms, outdoor ziplining and a ropes course. The Wild Rock Golf Club by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry is lauded as one of the state’s best courses with holes through an old quarry. The Woods nine-hole short course offers more golf.

I played the links at Lawsonia the day after I played here, and WILD ROCK is BETTER for sure!

Lawsonia is nice, but this isn’t even in the same league

In my estimation this golf course rates in the top five in the state of Wisconsin that you can you can get on as a public golf course.

This golf course ranks right up there with the Kohler courses, Sand Valley courses , Erin Hills and any other public course that you can get on in the state of Wisconsin trust me on this you have to see this course to believe it.

MUST PLAY

Course conditions are about as pure as they come.

Greens are fast, yet receptive.

Lots of elevated tees, and great views.

Noticed the yardages on the gps were off quite a bit in some areas, Doubt most people can tell, but deff something that will bother a low handicapper.

Also if you are considering playing cold water canyon, DONT. Play here twice! Thank me later!

Too bad it was wet.
