Annandale is an exclusive private club designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The par 5s were very strong and offered multiple routes to the putting surface.
There are some interesting tee shots to elevated fairways over large bunkers, producing blind shots and big reveals.
The back nine was far superior in quality of holes, in my opinion.
There are some risk/reward tee shots, like the one on 17. Fitting your ball into the right side fairway reduces your approach shot by 50-75 yards if you can pull it off.
It’s the dog days of summer here in July, so the conditions were a little subpar. Greens had been aerated recently.
