About
Set in a picturesque valley between the affluent suburbs of Bassonia and Glenvista in southern Johannesburg, the Glenvista Country Club is indeed blessed with its location.
Sid Brews, South Africa’s premier golfer in his day and well-known as golf-course architect, was commissioned to utilize his imagination and expertise, and work started on the course in 1967. It was only in 1973, however, that the course was opened to members.
Today, the Glenvista Country Club is undoubtedly one of the best golf courses around and boasts superb facilities in a truly unique setting.
