Princess Mundo Imperial Golf Course (formerly known as Fairmont Acapulco Princess Golf Club) was ranked as one of Golf Digest's top 25 golf resorts. The layout is defined by its narrow fairways lined with coconut palms that demand accuracy. The course is just short of 6,400 yards but don't let the yardage fool you. There are plenty of challenges in store despite the manageable length. Perhaps the best word to use to describe the layout would be "sneaky" since half of the holes have water to one side and out-of-bounds on the other. The golf course finishes with its signature hole. This dogleg par 4 is possibly the most challenging as well as the most scenic. The hole wraps around a large lake and features a dramatic second shot that seems almost suspended in air over the resort's unique pyramid structure.
