Bill Irwin

Bill Irwin was the managing editor of Golf Odyssey: The Insider’s Guide to the Best in Golf Travel for nearly twenty years. He has written hundreds of feature articles about golf’s most memorable destinations. For most of his assignments, he traveled anonymously and unannounced. He brings a historian’s perspective to the work, having earned a Ph.D. in American History, written a book on tourism and technology at Niagara Falls, and taught at the university level.
