River Birch Golf Club

Have played here several times. Nice layout with wide fairways. Water is in play on several holes along with a few bunkers. The greens roll nicely. The course is maintained pretty well. The young lady checking us in didn’t seem too happy to be there. Maybe she was just having a bad day? Small problem with our cart. Will play there again.

This is a very nice course to play. I have played it several times. It is well maintained. The holes are relatively open but water and sand can come into play on several shots. The greens roll nice. Only issues we had were a small mechanical problem with the linkage adjustment for the parking brake on our cart and the young lady checking us in wasn’t very personable. It was kind of chilly the day we played. There were probably less than ten playing on the entire course. I was wearing a jacket and she asked if I had a collared shirt. I told her I didn’t and she said “bring one next time.” She never smiled and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Maybe she was just having a bad day? Everything else was fine.

Course was in overall good shape. Greens were a bit slow.

Would play again and recommend this course to friends.

What a hidden gem!!! A first-class golf course one can play for a very affordable price. The new owner is great and under the superintendent's guidance, the course was in the best shape ever in 2015. He and his staff have already been working hard on the course. The tweaks are great and the course looks better than ever! Bring on Spring and Summer!!!

Course in excellent condition,I played single and all groups were nice and welcomed me to play through.Great day on the course.
