Eagle Ridge Golf Course

I would call this an average course that is deceptively challenging. The majority of the greens are raised "hump back" greens but the set back is that the quality of the greens is often questionable. Any approach shots will have to find the green or the raised mounds will reject them. The fairways are in pretty good shape with fairly consistent grass. Overall the course is a great value for the weekend warrior. Great course just do not set your expectations for a 5 star course.

This course was designed in 1958 but should serve as a templet for new courses in many respects. First it is short but that is misleading. Massive drives are taken out on many of the doglegs The elevation changes are impactful, the pathways fro the tee are sometimes narrow. The greens are often elevated, small and domed islands (Pinehurst) If you are in the area play it. This is not owned by a multi million dollar resort so do not expect perfection, but it is worth the experience. If you could replant this in a golf destination, add a few strategic bunkers and it would be a go to.

With the long par 4's you must really make sure to be accurate if you want to save par or birdie. Great course for the long driver and "stinger".

The course was in good shape and one of my favorites I have played in the area. For the money it was outstanding. I enjoyed the front nine a lot. I wish there was sand traps out I think the fairways and greens are in great shape.

This course has never really been in great shape, but I've always thought of it as a good go-to in the Jackson area because of the bang for your buck. But the course is in such bad shape right now that I doubt I'll ever go back. The greens are absolutely abysmal. They've been ripped up or something, so what you're left with is like putting across the face of a tire tread. At the end of the day, golf is supposed to be fun, and this course isn't fun anymore.

I have played the course on many occasions. The course is always in extremely good condition.

Course is maintained in good condition,but greens are too small and they are mostly slopy
