Not a good course
Bathroom was atrocious, guy at the front desk intentionally lied over the phone regarding tee times and was a jerk in person, ground of the course was so hard I couldn’t even get a tee in the ground on 2 of the holes
Don't book this course through Golf Now!!
Booked round through GolfNow and proshop wouldn't honor the reservation. Said they weren't affiliated with GN. Pro shops solution was to call GN and get refunded. Wont be back. Called GN and they had no record of Shadow Ridge dissolving the partnership. GN refunded the booking.
Great day to play.
Finally had some cooler weather to play a round in. Had a good time. Course play fast and fun. Better it in the fairway.
good test of your accuracy
could use spike cleaners on each hole...to try to keep the clay off your shoes...other than that great course to play

I was just passing through - on my way from TX to NC. The pro shop person was exceptionally nice and hooked me up with a club regular (David R)who helped steer me around course. Played some of my best golf and had a blast. Highly recommend the course and the friendly people that play there. Thanks to all for making my experience a memorable one!!!
Good layout, good condition
All in all, good rating. Greens rolled well, but some had spots in bad condition. Narrow fairways mixed with wide fairways. I made the turn at lunchtime, but no hot food available. The grill wasn't even open.
The Shadow
Course has spectacular terrain with many nice hills. Tee on first hole is about 70 feet above green with wonderful view. Ninth hole comes back up the hill to the club house. Back nine holes are 3 to 5 strokes harder than the front. Elevation changes are not as extreme on the back nine, but every hole has rolling terrain. Fairway and green conditions vary during year. Pro shop workers are very nice. Dining facilities are limited.
Awesome course!
We really enjoyed this course! We are average Joe golfers; front nine was fairly easy. Back 9 a bit more challenging but we thorough enjoyed the challenge. WouLd recommend to anyone.
Fun challenging course to play.
If ever visiting Hattiessburg or the surrounding area, this is a great course to play. Very challenging and fun.
Superb
This is my favorite course. The greens are phenomenal with onjulations and they are fast. The fairways are also great and the course offers an above average level of difficulty which I love. The staff is friendly and informative and they offer very nice services including club repair and lessons. Shadowridge should be ranked in the top 3 golf courses in the state because Shadowridge golf course blows the bear away.
Best bang for the buck in my experience
Had more fun here than I have had in a very long time. Great friendly staff, great service, great prices. Course was super fun. Greens were perfectly challenging. I will be back.
Consistent Golf
I play in south ms all the time and this course is always in good shape. Hattiesburg doesn’t have many options to play but this course always meets expectations and at a fair price. We teed off mid morning and the course was on good shape. Greens are some of the fastest in the area right now. Rough is really deep in some places and fairways are firm and fast. Pace of play was not an issue we never had to wait. Don’t hesitate to come play here it is a tough but fair test and can’t wait to go back and play again.
Great course at a great price!
The course is challenging but not overly difficult. Ground conditions from tee thru greens Werner very good! A Google course for locals to join.
