Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf

I took a trip to Aruba and wanted to play some golf. I played the front nine of this course, and the views were stunning. The course was really nicely maintained, and I was able to rent some very nice Titleist clubs. It’s pretty pricey since it’s on a resort and in a place where there isn’t a lot of water, but the area is undeniable. All that being said, the wind can be a little rough at some points, but it actually didn’t impact my shots as much as I thought. Would definitely recommend people play here especially if it’s a place you don’t come to all the time like me.

Tierra Del Sol was excellent!! The wind was howling but it was still a great experience. The conditions were remarkably good for island golf. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend this course to any visitors that are proficient golfers.

First time I played Tierra del Sol back in the late nineties it was spectacular. Over the years it went downhill and back in 2021 when I played it was awful. At the time it was saddening to see a once beautiful golf course slowly deteriorate to the point where it was nearly unplayable. BUT NOW IT’S BACK!!! Since Iberostar took over the property a year or two ago, the course is returning to the greatness it once was. Conditions were great. Plush fairways, well maintained tee boxes and bunkers, and greens that were always a bit slow due to the climate and not being able to cut them too short, but they were in great shape and rolled true. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting Aruba looking to get in 18 holes. I’m heading out right now to play it a second time in the last three days. Hoping to see further improvements when I return next year. Keep up the good work!!!

Played this course 4 years ago for about $150. Rates have been increase to almost $300, which is way overpriced for the course conditions. The track layout is great but not worth what they are charging these days. Luckily, found a hot tee time deal for about $125.

Such a challenging course but fun to play! The hidden green on hole 15 was a surprise along with some of the dry desert conditions along the fairways. Recommend playing this course at least once!

Definitely worth bringing our clubs on the trip ! Really enjoyed the course and the views are incredible. Extremely windy conditions made it tough but we loved the place.

This is an incredibly beautiful course that is in excellent condition and presents a great golfing experience for all golfers. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It is the best “ocean” course that I have ever played!

Only no private full 18-hole course on island of Aruba. Some really nice vistas, challenging holes and pins, but the wind will make you fly. Up or Down on each hole. Unfortunately, for the rates they charge the amenities are lacking. The free driving range is pretty bad, with mats and missing rubber tees, ancient and filthy range balls that you hit out to a dirt pit. There is a beverage cart, that did come around at least four times during the round, but there is no concession to buy any food. The one snack shack was closed and never opened on any of the days I played. In the end the golf was good but would have expected better value.

This golf course is a total gem. The layout is the most unique I have ever played. The fairways and greens were excellent. The Goats came out on holes number 3 to 6. The 17 miles per hour winds made the adventure memorable. The final hole is a challenging uphill par 4, with the wind at your back and the setting sun on your face. Bravo

This by far is one of my favorite golf course is in a Caribbean. Played five different islands courses. Monday and Friday is the fantastic because there’s no traffic at all. Fast for a slow as you like. They do a great job to maintain a course that is constantly getting wind blowed. By the trade winds.

The course is in great shape and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.. The only thing I wish it had was a monthly rate for people who spend the winter in Aruba.
