Malelane Golf Club

Situated less than a kilometre from the imposing and world famous Leopard Creek, it probably isn't surprising that this lovely little course gets overlooked. However, anyone on a golf tour of the region who doesn't take the time to play this unexpectedly challenging 9 hole 18 tee course is doing themselves a disservice. The green fees are extremely reasonable and the course in excellent condition. The course is surprisingly long with challenging Lowveld rough and some tricky angles. The greens and bunkers are not Leopard Creek standards, but are more than adequate. The course weaves its way around the sugar cane fields and, being only 2 mins from the Kruger Park, you are surrounded by wonderful bush filled with birdsong. The club facilities are good and the food at the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The course is never busy and I have often found myself the only player, which is great for me but sad for the club. There are camping facilities, a large pool and a gym on the property as well which is situated right next to the Crocodile River. Don't miss out. This lovely little course is more than worth it.
