Golf at Gran Altura
La Vitoria Golf Club is situated in the middle of the mountains surrounding Tarija. Is a golf course in a developing country, so don't expect too much of amenities (no rentals, cute clubhouse, restaurant only open on tournament days, no pro shop either). The course layout itself is nice with great views of the valley and Tarija. On hole 7 you will see flamingos. It is very quiet as very few Tarijenas play and they are not used to visitors either. I enjoyed my third round here though.
