At 451 yards, Champions Pointe's par-4 18th also requires strategy as the water can come into play off the tee. A layup fairway right and short of the green offers an alternative for players who can't cover the hazard to the green on the second shot.

A look at Fuzzy Zoeller's long but fair Champions Pointe Golf Club near Louisville in southern Indiana
HENRYVILLE, Ind. -- One of two Fuzzy Zoeller clubs in the Louisville, Ky., area, Champions Pointe Golf Club is a championship layout designed by Clyde Johnston and Zoeller.
With zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens, Champions Pointe can be stretched to nearly 7,200 yards. But with five sets of tees, it's playable by all levels. Opened in 2007, there's water on about a third of the holes but more difficult may be the rough, which can get quite thick by summer.
Full practice facilities, a well stocked golf shop and full-service bar and grill complete the experience.
