YORK, Pa. -- Of all the golf courses in York County, Heritage Hills Golf Course at Heritage Hills Golf Resort is among the favorites.

The Russell Roberts design is filled with risk-reward opportunities, so you must think about your strategy on every hole. The greens are large and undulating, but the hilly terrain -- especially on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th -- will present a challenge.

Native vegetation accents the landscape, and water features come into play throughout the round, especially in the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

Heritage Hills Golf Resort is also home to another 18-hole layout, Springwood Golf Course, and offers great stay-and-play packages.
