Hilly Five Ponds Golf Club in Warminster proves to be the class of Bucks County
WARMINSTER, Pa. -- Five Ponds Golf Club is a local favorite. It has consistently been voted as the best golf course in Bucks County.
The course is 6,673 yards from the back tees but plays much longer, thanks to the rolling elevations. The hilly terrain provides sloped greens and elevated tees with scenic views.
A liberal smattering of bunkers makes the course a challenge. There are some tricky doglegs and also several water hazards to contend with, especially on the front nine. The golf course is a fair but formidable test that isn't too intimidating for beginners given that most of the holes are open with plenty of room.
More advanced golfers will enjoy letting it rip on the long par 4s and par 5s. There are a few shorter holes as well, so you can get in some iron practice.
Five Ponds Golf Club is one of the area's most affordable courses despite the fact that it boasts country club-quality conditions that enhance your round.
