Tribute golf course at the Otsego Club in Gaylord, Michigan has no shortage of panoramic views
GAYLORD, Mich. -- While the Ostego Club and Resort dates back to 1939, it's the newer golf course there -- The Tribute -- that really has people talking these days.
Designed by Rick Robbins and former PGA Tour player Gary Koch, this beautiful 7,347-yard layout runs up and down and around the Sturgeon River Valley, with plenty of panoramic views off the tees and natural forest framing the holes.
With four to six tee boxes on every hole, the golf course, which opened in 2001, plays to all levels, but is a stiff test from the tips. Nearly every tee is elevated with nos. 3, 6, 11, 14 and 16 being the most stunning. Some tees offer views of more than 30 miles.
