Amazing views, fun layout
First time I saw a whale breach in the ocean while golfing. Course is well maintained, very playable. Driving thru a sand dune, which then opens up to a the box and fairway is very cool. It's a spendy round, but great experience.
Cabo golf at its best
One of the best golf courses in Cabo. It’s the second time we played here but the wind was a big factors for both times. Everything else was perfect.
Pricey but worth it!
Had a 7:20am tee time. It’s a little drive from the Marina and the traffic is pretty busy in the morning. Got there with 10 minutes to spare so I couldn’t hit the driving range. It looked amazing. I got the rental clubs for $79 bucks. They provided me with a set of TaylorMade Qi10 Driver/woods, Qi Irons with the option to get a stiff or regular shaft. Pace of play was perfect. The course was tough, if your ball hits the desert it’s gone lol. Overall, course was beautiful and well kept. My recommendation, bring your own glove, balls, tees and a range finder.
Worth it!
Amazing course! We caught a windy day but it is open enough. We saw humpback whales around noon that day. The only negative was some sand on most of the greens which appeared to be part of a maintenance process. Otherwise the greens and course overall is kept in immaculate condition!
This continues to be one of my favorite courses in Cabo
This is a great course from a design standpoint. It’s beautiful in every way and we enjoyed a day with very little wind which made it even that much more enjoyable. If there is any knock on it, you do pay for all inclusive food and drinks with your tee time and to be honest this was a bit lacking. We were promised a different menu each time we came through the comfort stations but the front only had empanadas and the back only hot dogs. I understand that it’s difficult to have this be a gourmet offering but this was pretty uninspired and it seems like the workers are disappointed that they didn’t get tipped much but also as the customer we were expecting more. That kind of leads to a circular set of disappointment all around. Two other menu items and just a touch more energy at the comfort stations and this is a 5/5 must-do. It’s an easy fix and hopefully the course will take this feedback and make the appropriate changes.
Beautiful
Great location and awesome views. Course was lush green in a sand dune landscape.
No Socks
Course is good. They have a little work to do on the service aspect. They didn’t have golf socks in pro shop.
Also, they wouldn’t let our Uber through the gate.
Solar Golf Links
The course was in very good shape, all verdant green which contrasted with the sand dunes and beach and brilliant blue sky and ocean. The one exception were the greens. Sand was sprinkled liberally over them and it unfortunately detracted from their speed. It is a spectacular location, although a bit of a hike. Uber will drop you off but you must take an expensive taxi back to Cabos San Lucas. Also, while playing we watched a spectacular show of a hump back whale breaching the ocean for at least 15 minutes. All in all, while pricey, it was a worthwhile experience.
concern
The Lady at the desk called me and said She never charged me for my Tee Times. Now I am concerned it is a scam or real since I am dealing with Someone in anothe Country.. Waiting to see if and when a possible charge hits my account. A little frustrating
Golfer Beware!
My story will take a few minutes to read so if you're in a hurry the quick summary is if you're trying to decide which high end course to play in Cabo go to Quivira, Diamante or Puerto Los Cabos. For the money those are much better choices even without the following story ..
One of the worst golfing experiences I've ever had at a high end course. A beautiful morning round of golf was ruined by the way it ended. I had the. First tee time of the day. I was dropped off by my Uber driver right in front of the clubhouse. The course is remote so as I was finishing my round I requested my Uber pick-up which was 10 minutes away. I waited right where I had been dropped off but the Uber kept saying 10 minutes away. My battery was dying on my phone so I was worried he wouldn't be able to contact me. I had to get back to my hotel 20 minutes away to check out so I was running out of time. Then a get a message that my diver couldn't get past the security gate to the property. I asked someone in the golf shop to call the gate to let them thru but they refused. Turns out that they don't allow Uber pick ups. Only drop offs. I asked to speak to the head pro for his assistance. He said the was nothing he could do. I asked why that policy wasn't made clear to customers who would surely not realize it especially if they had arrived by Uber. He showed me an 8 inch by 11 inch sign in small writing placed in a spot that would easily not be seen that said they don't allow Uber pickups. I told him that was not a good enough notification and they should be ashamed. So I asked if they could have someone take me to the gate to meet my driver. Considering I had just paid $395 to golf I thought that was a reasonable request. He refused. He said my only options were to take a taxi to the gate for $20 or take a taxi to my hotel for $45. The cost to Uber to the hotel was $16. By now I'm running late to checkout of my hotel, my phone is dying, my Uber driver had to leave without me but I still had to pay for it. And I had to pay for a taxi back to my hotel. The manager said there wasn't anything he could do because this was the policy from the resort not the golf course. I told him I wasn't a customer of the resort, I was a golf customer. He then insulted me with an offer of a 10% discount if I come back to play. As if I would ever want to come back to the place where I just had the worst and most disrespectful golf experience of my life! Which all could have been avoided if the Uber policy was made more clear at the time of booking which is a reasonable expectation in a resort area where many people Uber.
Great staff
The staff were amazing and the course was top notch.
